   My wife tried to buy nappies today - was abused by a lady at the till. She was told ‘this is not a wholesalers’. She might be too dim to realise we know it’s an aldi as we can read and are literate- perhaps unlike her. However never had this issue at any other store. Seems some workers just want a power trip by abusing customers. Won’t be returning to this store again - surprised with this level of behaviour they have any regular customers.

   Overzealous and indiscreet security guard. Moved from aisle to aisle to aisle with me staring the whole time. I was looking for a specific item that you usually sell but don't in this store so I went round all the aisles a couple of times. Perhaps asking if I needed any help would have been been more appropriate than stalking me.

   It was good variety of items. However, the staff are miserable and rude. I see this couple get a “have a good day” from this blonde haired worker. When I come over with a smile. She looks at me like I’m robbing the place. Utterly dispassionate customer service and inequality! Id rather go to a corner shop where they smile.

   Did enjoy once, but found it lacks clarity over return and replace policy. Tried to replace products bought within an hour but couldn’t because they do sales without such a policy. Cheap is cheap.

   The doors to the chilled section are so annoying as they open into the isles, meaning its very hard to get through and a lot of waiting around. They ask to use self service even if you have a whole trolly full which is just a pain with the small space we have.

   Of all the supermarkets in Central Reading; this is the one! Bit of a walk from my apartment; but it’s worth it. The meat section is perfection. I sometimes feel a little bad for clearing it out too much. Reasonably priced, good quality cuts! There is one staff member who always grills me at the self-checkout; she never believes that I’m using my own bags. I always tell her the same thing: “check the cameras”. But I’ll let this pass.

   The best Aldi in Reading much better than the Bath Rd branch which can get crowded and does not have self service. Bigger and simply better. Good selection of fruit and veg and meats and vegan foods. Beers and wine also very good at reasonable prices. All round better experience.

   I started to do my shopping here since last year. I see the products are less expensive here and the quality is good. I like they have self service which helps not waiting too much and lose time. The employees are helping if you request and are polite.
