    Dear Aldi Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my experience at your (350 Basingstoke Rd, Reading RG2 0NT ) store on 10/09/2025 at approximately 8:15–8:20 AM. On this visit, I purchased eggs, a protein shake, and oat milk (total: £5.13). I paid at the self-checkout but chose not to print a receipt, as I prefer not to waste paper. I visit this store almost every morning around the same time. Shortly after leaving the checkout, a store attendant approached me in a manner I found both unnecessary and discriminatory. She accused me of not paying for my items and insisted that I return inside to prove my payment. Despite showing her the payment confirmation message on my phone, she did not believe me. This resulted in me being publicly questioned in front of several staff members while they attempted to verify my purchase. The situation was extremely embarrassing and humiliating, especially as I had followed the correct process when paying. I would like to highlight two important points: Store responsibility at self-checkout: If no staff are monitoring the self-checkout area, misunderstandings such as this can occur. Receipts for verification: If receipts are required for proof of purchase, customers should not be given the option to decline printing one. I hope Aldi takes this feedback seriously and reviews both staff conduct and store procedures to ensure customers are treated with dignity and respect.     Lovely.is so Good lots off stuff there clowns ducks and other. Prices are very good especially the pikachu headphones plus don't get then I want them!!!!! But better go to lomdos and buy there mega cool water gun and buy there lottery wow! Also buy londis man's shoes and babushka kisses his feet and cheek saying *have a great say at londis babe!!!

    There are other reviews of a dark haired lady, white skin and accent, she just searched my shopping and thought I was stealing, all I brought was nappies, baby wipes and a bubble machine for my 2 month old baby. In her words "it looked like I had more than what I paid for" ...what does that mean? - if there are multiple reviews about one person it sounds like they need to be fired.

    Rude staff who can’t be bothered to be mannerly at the checkout. Stock is low and then expect a super fast grand prix style till service. Won’t be going back.

    They either need to hire more staff or manage their time better. Long queues, dirty shelves (meat department) full of blood and other juices from meat coming out from opened packaging. Dirty overall and not a good shooping experience whatsoever

    Super shoppers unfriendly. Stocks are pilled up too high, as if they don't have any codes for health and safety. Some staff are helpful but not the store itself. It would be much better if they install the split packing area at the till points. ( Just like the Swedish supermarkets) It would save time and stress for the staff and shoppers, further more it would enhance the company's profits.

    .Aldi Basingstoke Road. This is really convenient being opposite PureGym where I train. Ample parking. The food and products are competitively priced. However: the queues for the checkout are frustrating. Never enough staff at peak times and no self serve checkout (take a lesson from Lidl Basingstoke Road here). The staff are okay/friendly. It’s okay but could be a lot better. The middle isle bargains are kinda all over the place - again take a lesson from Lidl. A shame, some great food products and a couple of niche items. If you like queuing shop here. If not - go to Lidl. Wine selection in Lidl destroys Aldi hands down. Come on Aldi.

    Bought a strawberry packet, when opened at home, there was a live spider inside pkt.Took pic/vdo. Reported back to store manager but they just said report it to customer care and refunded money. No real sorry or apology or compensation offered.
