Buying a new car should be an exhilarating adventure, one that fills you with excitement. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Tesla has been nothing short of a disaster. It's hard to express the depth of my disillusionment and fury after enduring what has undoubtedly been one of the most appalling and abysmal customer service experiences of my life. It all started when my company provided me with a budget to lease a new company car. As a loyal Tesla customer, I naturally decided to upgrade to the new Model Y. Unlike traditional car dealerships, Tesla insists that the entire process be conducted online and through their app. I received a quote for the Model Y that fit within my budget, and to ensure its accuracy, I consulted with Jordan, a sales representative at the Aberdeen branch. He confirmed the quote, and I paid a Β£200 deposit to secure the car, with delivery promised in December. This is where the nightmare began. To finalise the order, I needed to complete the leasing information on the app. Multiple attempts only resulted in error messages stating, "Itβs us, not you! Weβll be back up and running soon." Despite this being a known issue, Tesla failed to inform me. After days of futile attempts and an unhelpful visit to the Aberdeen branch, someone finally texted me through the app, saying they had resent the link and I should try again. When I tried again, the app worked, but the price had inexplicably risen by over 5%, pushing it beyond my budget. I returned to the Aberdeen depot, where the sales staff acknowledged the issues and promised to fix it. After hearing nothing for days, I went back again and was assured it would be sorted. I explained that I was selling my car the next day and needed the new car immediately. Yet again, I was assured (by Robbie -branch manager)it would be resolved. At 4 pm the day before the scheduled delivery, after I had sold my car, Jordan from the Aberdeen office called to inform me that the higher prices were indeed correct, despite the website still showing the agreed rate. He claimed there was nothing more he could do. I then dealt with another unhelpful representative via text, who only promised to look into the issue. I tried escalating things as far as I could, eventually the delivery supervisor for Uk & NI got in touch with a βsolutionβ directing me to yet another leasing company that shaved mere pennies off the βnewβ price and still well over the agreed budget- laughable really! So here I am 3 days before Christmas - stressed out, no car, Β£200 down, and two kids extremely disappointed they arenβt getting the Xmas road trip promised to them. Thanks Tesla! This entire process has been a complete and utter shambles, marked by incompetence, a lack of accountability, and horrendous customer service. Tesla had weeks to rectify their mistakes, yet they failed at every stage. No one wants to communicate, and no one cares about helping. Awful service. Not very impressed.. Had a test drive booked for 11 o'clock turn up 11 o'clock told I had to wait till 12 as somebody was now booked in front of me. Also had arranged to have the car for the day and the evening which on arrival they knew nothing about as the the person I arranged it wasn't there. Travel 20 miles in to Aberdeen and left without a test drive and disappointed. No follow-up call following not having a test drive. Imagine as organic selling so many cars customer services is not a priority

Albeit never visited however via the Self Serve facility in Inverness I was put into contact with Jordan that answered any questions that I had and was incredibly patient and friendly. I may not of made the jump to full-electric yet, but Jordan arranged several test drives for me and I do have some options to consider. Overall Jordan has been a great representative of TESLA and I wish him and the team all the best.

Very good people working here. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly. Excellent facilities, clean and cared for. State of the art Superchargers. Don't think of this as just "a car dealership or garage" anymore than you'd think of the Tesla as just "a car". It's all Tesla.
