I went to a Christmas session today, they had a photographer in, I am so disappointed the photographer guys face was so miserable and he made no effort whatsoever to take any reasonably good pictures, numerous times I saw him eye rolling, huffing at the children which is just completely unacceptable. Being a play cafe for children you would expect them to welcome a photographer in who is friendly and good with children. This just put such a downer on our day. The photography company is called β outside and in photography β just to make people aware that he is not child friendly at all.

Lovely little play cafe. Lovely food and coffee and plenty of areas for play with different themes/ activities. Reasonably priced with some parking on site. It is upstairs but there is spaces to leave a buggy downstairs. Shoes off play space so perfect for younger ones to explore too.

Really want to love this place as itβs a great idea but itβs not quite there for me. Itβs a bit of a funny atmosphere, thereβs no music, I feel like playing some Disney music or something in the background would make the environment more fun and magical for the children. Lots of random lightbulbs not working so some areas quite dull and gloomy. The food is really nice but snacks expensiveβ¦ Β£3.10 for 2 packets of crisps was a bit of a surprise! Total of Β£30 for 2 children, 1 coffee, one bacon sandwich and 2 packets of crisps was an expensive 2 hours. Baby area is lovely, and the area with the playhouse and slide is very nice. The soft toys looked very old and tired and not the cleanest.

I was first introduced to Rubys back in 2018 from a friend I really enjoyed it especially when they done bouncy castle on extra special occasions, Now, present day with change of location and a few new staff I still really enjoy this place. Its such a great idea for mums who like to meet up with out the hassle of running in all different directions itβs so chilled, the owner goes above and beyond to think of special activities like meet and greets of celebrities (for example) princess Belle, Elsa/Anna, Peppa pig, Bluey and much more. They also do pop up photo shoots which is so well priced. I look forward to going every week for a well deserved break, while the kids play so well independently Itβs a very lovely atmosphere and all the staff make sure your well looked after This place doesnβt get enough credit than it deserves thank you everyone for always making us feel so welcome xx

Ruby's cafe has a charming vibe where parents and kids have a very accessible movement between the cafe area and the play area. It's different from soft play or trampoline and allows children to explore a lot of activities that they usually see in the real world. There is a separate baby section too. My daughter had a blast with her besties. The cafe seemed quite good as well with good food options, although I didn't try anything. I would certainly go again.

Lovely little cafe for kids with pre-schoolers with lots do facilities - its not too expensive to come in as you get one free adult for every "walker" and babies are cheap. It's a nice place to go for a coffee with a friend - though food selection is limited. The baby area is sweet and the little play areas around the place are within sight of all the tables, meaning you can actually sit down and have a coffee if your child is old enough to play independently. The only downside is that it's not clearly signed how to get in, or the fact there's a car park. You have to go behind the building, through the car park and then up the stairs. So no prams! For obvious reasons this is a no shoe zone, which can get cold in the winter, so bring thick socks.

We visited on a Friday afternoon for the first time. Iβm sad to say we probably wonβt be back, whilst my daughter had fun I found the facilities to be quite unclean. The chairs and tables were really unclean, so much so I wiped them myself. The toys themselves looked rather grubby too and made me feel a bit uneasy given the amount of germs going round at the moment. Great concept but lots of parents just sitting and having coffee and totally ignoring their children who were misbehaving/pushing/being unkind. Iβm sure you guys will continue being really busy and I wish you the best of luck but we most likely will not be returning.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff and great food & coffee. They have the proper coffee machine and various types of milk etc. Prices comparable to Starbucks (in fact the cappuccino is exactly the same price which is fair enough). Sandwiches with traditional fillings, made freshly with tasty bread. Park in the back of the building (it says private parking but it is for Ruby's customers). I'll be back :)
