Went to watch Panto. It was a lovely clean venue, friendly staff. Snacks a bit pricey. Overall a good experience.

I recently attended with my family the "Beauty and the Beast" panto at the Hexagon Theatre in Reading, and I couldn't be more impressed! The performance was absolutely brilliant, full of fun and laughs, showcasing incredible talent and captivating storytelling that kept me engaged from start to finish. The staff at the theatre were exceptionally helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall welcoming atmosphere of the venue. And I must rave about the hot chocolate! It's the perfect treat for a refreshing half-time pick-me-upβrich, creamy, and utterly delightful. Overall, the Hexagon Theatre offers a fantastic experience with a great performance, lovely staff, and delicious refreshments. I can't wait to return for another show!

The concert (by Gareth Malone) was amazing. We were in the main auditorium and had good views. Rest rooms were fine. Interval choices of treats were good. We'd failed to find the right car park and ours was a bit past it's sell by date, but there's plenty of paid parking nearby.

I love this venue. I've been twice now and I find the building small enough to get around easily, toilets are always queue free and the theatre seats are spacious enough with good leg room (for women at least). I would describe this as a fairly intimate venue. Parking at the nearby Civic B carpark is very convenient and it's cheap.

Went to see the Nutcracker by Varna International Ballet. The dancers were excellent. Our tickets were Β£46 each and I was hoping that we would have been able to see more of the orchestra . My daughter recommended this after she had seen this ballet company at the Bristol Hippodrome and her 3 children could watch all the orchestra from the front row. We travelled 100 miles each way to the Hexagon in Reading. I liked seeing it all lit up at night however the inside of the theatre is not terribly inspiring. The costumes were the best I've ever seen. So colourful and original in design.

The Hexagon Theatre in Reading is a quirky venue for sure. I donβt know who the architect was but their remit was clearly to βbuild a utilitarian concrete bunkerβ and deliver they did. Iβve been here a few times now and have had a good experience each time. Clearly it depends on the acts you choose to see but as an alternate night out you canβt really go wrong. Personally I like theatre but there are live music events and a choice of indie alternatives. Itβs nice to go out in town and do something different rather than just go and drink copious amounts of alcohol and be ripped off accordingly for the βprivilegeβ. Be advised though drinks and snacks are on the expensive side but at least you wonβt be going for round after round at the bar. The venue itself is in an out of the way location on the fringe of town but there is plenty of parking options nearby and itβs a short walk from Reading station. Recommended? - of course. Itβs theatre. Itβs cool.

Went to see 10CC in concert on 26 October. Despite booking late we had good seats in the circle with a brilliant view of the stage. Queues for the toilets were quite long especially on the upper floors. For a maligned venue needing an update - it's still pretty good. 10Cc were pretty good too!

Good panto. Mainly cos it was good to be back in panto world. Jokes were a bit corny, in good old panto fashion. Show was fun. 5 year old enjoyed it as did all the kids. Mr tumble and Co did a grand job. Hexagons not the biggest but good enough
