Had a fantastic evening at the progress theatre. Great production of Terry Pratchett's 'Nightwatch'. Clever staging and a great cast that all seemed to enjoy their roles. Out front staff were friendly and provided lovely kind service. Very glad I went and I'll certainly look forward to future productions. Reasonably priced bar also a plus.
Fabulous little theatre group. Great at doing Terry Pratchett's plays. Players fabulously characterful, reflecting closely the characters in the books. Sets were very innovative! Loved them!
An absolute masterpiece amdram production of Terry Pratchett's The Hogfather. A beautiful theatre and clearly a fun, supportive, inclusive community has formed around it. Looking forward to more Discworld productions in future!
Terrific fun yesterday at Progress, The Lonesome West is fast-paced, dark, and funny. They absolutely did it justice. Front of house was delightful, and the drinkies are well priced. Well worth a visit. Cheeky photo at interval.
We've visited the Progress on many occasions over the years and we've never regretted going to watch their fine amateur productions. Always great work by the actors and crew. Refreshments are available at unusually reasonable prices at their in-house bar before the show and during the interval. We saw a production of Liars Teeth last week. It was very much up their usual high standards.
Excellent small Theatre, well appointed and run. Production of Jeeves & Wooster was hilarious and brilliantly acted and staged. A great evening out.
Great local theatre! Went to see Jeeves & Wooster last weekend, had immense fun, it was exactly what was needed that day. The place is small, but cozy. They have a lovely bar, and exhibit artwork by local artists in the lobby witn option to buy. We bought a beautiful piece and the coordinator said they display works from different artists every new show.
I went to see the play Angels in America here. This is a very intimate theatre. About a hundred seats max and a very small stage. This doesn't diminish at all from the powerful performances given by the talented actors. The staff are lovely and you get the vibe 'we are family here'.
