   We had a terrible experience when we popped down to look for floor boards. We asked a staff member (a small bald man) for support. We asked for a price as all the signs were very unclear. The worker then said the price varies depending on what mood the boss is in… “you best catch him on a good day”. He kept trying to joke to us about price and we just wanted a straight answer. He never gave us clear prices and just kept joking and mucking around the whole time. He also said delivery would be £150 or £200 or more… “again depends if the boss is in a good or bad mood”. We thought the overall attitude of this worker was a disrespectful and didn’t take us seriously. I would avoid this place and recommend people to visit the reclamation yard in petersfield instead. We had a great experience there and were made to feel very welcome.

   Great range of recycled building materials. Do call in advance to check stock and prices as the website can be very out of date. In my case, coping bricks advertised at £4:50 became £7:50. Do also arrive in plenty of time as closing times are a bit variable.

   Worst business I have ever tried to use call them let them know that I would get there five minutes before they shut and I just needed a few bricks. They said don’t bother and when I got there gate was locked five minutes early don’t bother using them they must have too much money and don’t need the custom, thank you.

   What a great company this is. First point of contact was a phone call to them, very helpful. I then visited the yard and was met by the friendliest of staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I bought my oak beam and slate hearth at a good price and was given a hand loading it into the van. The staff are great both in the office and in the yard. I will be going back in the future. Thank you. A refreshing experience.

   Great experience and service here. Needed some proper floorboards that you just can’t buy in any of the regular DIY shops. Was advised to try here, initially rang and asked if they had what I needed and then took a trip out there. yard is huge with lots of supplies. Asked in the office for help and they couldn’t have been nicer. Showed me where the floorboards were and measured them up for me to check they were the right thickness/width. The lovely chap was very helpful. Was a decent price and I managed to replace the damaged floorboards in my house. Thanks again and I’m sure I will be back when I start my next job at home.

   paid £70 for delivery which they dropped off without notice over 20 meters in wrong place. At least 10% of bricks were either painted on one face or cracked and i spent 2 whole long days cleaning them as they were not cleaned.The staff were unhelpful and rude.
