   Ordered some wood to be delivered on delivery day we called at about 3pm asking where the delivery was as we are less than 2miles from the yard they told us it had been delivered well no it had not. At 5.30pm the called and told us it had been delivered to the wrong address and if the can find it it would be delivered today it has been delivered but just dumped on the drive no knock at the door to say it was here nothing customer service is nonexistent

   Ordered materials for a customers job. Told it would be delivered on the 27th early lunch. 3rd on the drop. Waited and nothing. Called around 1pm to find out where is was they said not sure what time it will be delivered as they are having stock problems. Its now the 28th at nearlly 2pm. Ive lost money now and they still havent got a clue what time its coming. Why take someone's hard earned cash of you cant deliver the goods om time!!

   unfriendly, unhelpful. had started by saying i need various pieces - either to get delivered nearby or potentially in can if i can get a few cuts to fit. after going through and adding all the timber on the till (£250) and realize the lengths - asked for 1 cut per piece to fit in van. “ah, “you can borrow a saw” really? i can’t be cutting wood in the parking lot (i had 2 little kids with me). “well, maybe the guys will do it if they aren’t busy”. ok - what about delivery (2mi away) - “maybe in 2 days” maybe? “yes, maybe... do you want the timber and try and fit it in van? you can borrow a saw”. well can we find out if they guys are busy? “you can ask when you go to fit in van”. i had a few plumbing pieces to ring up - which i did - but as nothing had a code and they had no sheet - two people looking up items on the computer - so i walked back to the the shelf and got the part numbers for them to help. clearly they would rather fiddle on the computer than walk 15feet - or ask the guys on the yard if they can cut the wood. really really poor service. i’ve never experienced such poor service and general lack of caring at any timber merchant (and i have a fair amount of experience!)
