Really friendly service at the tills that made our visit. Went for all the KPIS but in a way that maintained great customer service

I was served by a lovely man (I feel awful that I didn’t get his name!) who was very attentive and positive. I was really impressed with how friendly he is especially at this time of year when most people just want to get you out as soon as possible.

Brilliant store for everything hobby & craft lol. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Gave 4 starts because just when you get used to where stuff is they move it! Apart from that, top notch!

Went in looking for something to help making sea shell wind charms. Found some perfect bamboo rods and some glitter wire to tie it all together. Will come back again when I have other projects as they have all sorts of products from wool to airplane kits and everything in-between

I've visited here a couple of times but never managed to buy anything as the queue has been so, so long every time. I actually don't understand how this is possible. Other than that the store seems quite well stocked and tidy, but that may just be because they don't really want to sell any of it.

I used the Class Bento booking system to book a one-to-one sewing workshop at Hobbycraft. This was my first time sewing since Clothing and Textiles classes at secondary school many years ago! My instructor Pam was very patient and helped me to understand the basics of using a machine. During the hour, I learnt how to thread the machine, wind the thread around a bobbin, practise a few stitches and ended with a hem. I also got some tips on purchasing a machine as a beginner. All in all, well worth the £20 for the lesson. Now I’m even more motivated to start practising with simple patterns and hope to make my own outfits especially as bespoke clothing is so expensive!

Very good workshop! 0n 28/2/2023 five friends joined the Beginners Acrylic Pouring Workshop run by Christine Hedges at Reading Hobbycraft. She put over all the information in a calm , friendly manner, giving us the opportunity of producing two finished works. It was very enjoyable. GLYNIS ORMSBY
