I really dread having to go to our local shop . Which I think is sad . The staff try but the place doesn’t seem to work . The post office situation over the follow up to Christmas and other busy times is a joke . One time you cue this end at the post office ,then you cue that end in a big long cue with all the shoppers . Get told you’re doing it wrong? The fresh produce is never there that you need . I am glad I can drive and go elsewhere I feel sorry for those elderly that don’t. The place needs a refresher or get Tesco in .

I think we are very fortunate to have Co-op in the village. And it’s a good selection of food. So many times I managed to get things just before 10pm and they were open. I don’t understand one star ratings just because it was shut early. It was, obviously for a reason. If it wasn’t for Co-op, I would be having to drive to Winchester to get what I need, in the evening. C’mon, let’s be realistic.

I was very shook earlier to receive the new that a young lad by the name of jai smith was fired from your company, he was such a happy and outgoing boy, I just doing understand why you had to fire him and i will not be coming back to your store AGAIN!!! You cant silence me, corporate fools.

Shop is shut again without any warning without any explanation. We went there at 5pm. It’s getting way to common now these past months that we find the shop close HOURS before their official closing time. Also, the place is really messy, in the morning the pastries are not baked by 8-9 am and also the story is FULL with unpacked trolleys packed with products which is making it hard to get what we want as 1. there is no space to move and 2. The heavy trolleys are blocking the shelves. They are not short stuffed because every time we got there we see a minimum of 3 to 4 employees in the shop. It’s time for someone to do something as this situation is ridiculous.

Great post office service when they are open! Often closed due to staff shortages as short notice.

It currently has issues with opening hours and is often closed without notice.

The last two times I’ve needed to go there on a Saturday evening they have been closed, even though it is advertised as open

Not sure why all the negative comments! We are fortunate to have this facility in Colden Common and the staff work very hard. They have kept open when we have had heavy snow as they did during the pandemic so that locals can still get their shopping. Well done everyone! You are an asset to Colden Common.

I've not particularly great interactions with the staff here (often come across a bit rude/unhelpful) as others have experienced but also they have a habit of closing for a few hours to restock the shelves at peak times. I appreciate that it's a small store and it's during a pandemic/difficult times but I've come at peak times several times to find the store closed
