My son attended for a school trip - absolutely loved his stay, clean and tidy site with comfortable beds - no idea what Helen J's review is all about. He came back begging to book activities days at Longridge. Staff were friendly and well trained.

My daughter had a fantastic Holiday Activity Day camp yesterday! She came out beaming and told me all about the kayaking, bell boats and climbing to name just a few of the activities she did. She went with a friend and also made new friends. The instructions beforehand are very detailed and thorough which makes preparing beforehand very easy. My daughter loved the lunch and we packed a few extras in case as suggested as she can be picky. The safeguarding measures in place are excellent and very reassuring when you’re leaving your child somewhere for the day. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Drop off and pick up were very smooth and fast. Thank you for a wonderful day - we will be rebooking next year!

My son had a wonderful week at Longridge for his Year 6 residential, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, it sounds like the experience was packed with exciting activities and it certainly provided him with a host of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. According to my son, the instructors were all incredibly friendly and approachable, which really made a difference. He was able to build meaningful relationships with them, and it's fantastic for the children to have such positive role models. They encouraged my son to have a go at everything, from climbing to kayaking, creating a supportive environment where he felt safe to push his limits. It's heartwarming to see how much my son embraced the challenges, and he came back full of stories about the adventures they had. He made memories that I know will last a lifetime, and it's a joy to hear him reminisce about his favourite moments. A massive thank you to all the staff at Longridge who work tirelessly to ensure that each child's experience is first-class. Your dedication shines through, and we are grateful for the unforgettable week you provided for our son!

Longridge is such a fantastic facility and one that I would recommend everyone uses (both adults and children alike). They run amazing holiday camps for children, which include different and exciting activities (much more exciting that your bog standard holiday camps). They give a great lunch, offering a balanced meal and encouraging all children to eat the fruit and healthy options available. I have sent my 5 year old daughter multiple times and recommend it regularly to other parents I know. The children are so well looked after and come home shattered and it’s so reasonably priced - what more could you ask for!

Terrible accommodation, my son was on a school trip. Girls had mattresses and boys slept on metal. I have shown photos, and you will see the difference between the girls and the boys accommodation. Food was poor and not any choice. (Sandwich, packet of chrisp and one chocolate) hardly a substantial lunch considering they were active all day. There were no other snacks or healthy options throughout. Dinner, was just as bad. Kids were hungry especially the boys. Toilet doors broken and restriction on water if the class showered. I would not recommend your child stay here. Over priced for what it is. You’d be better taking your child camping yourself!

Superb - have used Longridge for decades with kids and grandchildren alike, they are professional, very safety conscious and they make kids have safe water sports fun. The area is lucky to have such a well-run place available to them. Do go your support helps them and the community. Builds confidence in kids and young adults like no one else.

Amazing place for a birthday party. My son thoroughly enjoyed his laser tag party for his 10th birthday. The Longridge team are friendly and helpful.

Just done a boating course in the centre, very useful, learned a lot of practical things about mooring, etiquette on the river etc i had not known before. Feel much more confident being in charge of a motor craft.

My partner and I completed our RYA Power Boat Level 2 course at Longridge. Savannah was incredibly helpful and prompt in email correspondence when booking us in. Chris our instructor was incredibly knowledgable and courteous. The course was delivered at a great pace, with plenty of time to ask questions and revisit and practice the more tricker manoeuvres. Chris has remained in touch and has answered the questions we have had regarding the ICC application process and international boating laws. The stretch of river was absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for a thoroughly enjoyable and informative weekend. I would strongly recommend Longridge for anyone looking to take a boating course.

I'm not sure where Mark Powell went, possibly the rowing centre next door, but the Longridge venue was ideal to be temporarily used as a covid vaccination centre. Suitably located to cover Marlow and north Maidenhead without having to endure Maidenhead town centre. There was a steward on the car park, which has ample space if everyone turns up at their scheduled appointment time. Paved all the way in to the vaccination centre (lift for disabled access if required, also a coffee vendor open and friendly), level gravel / concrete paths, in and out in less 30 minutes (including a 15 min sit down). Looks a great place for activities as well.
