Decent size shop with friendly staff on the whole. Lower rating as missing stock items for weeks are frustrating as are low stock kn Mondays. Freshly baked cakes/buns/cookies are always a hit. Appreciate some good quality goods for lower prices.
One of the managers needs to be fired. My brother in law, who has autism, went to inform the female manager on shift that some of the fruit was mouldy out of concern that it would affect the other food. She instantly had a bad attitude and I’ve noticed she’s always like this, and she said “yeah I know I was gonna do that in a minute” no apology, just being rude and unprofessional. Then a few minutes later, he thought he’d go up to her and politely ask how to make a complaint, and she said “what? Is it about me is it?” And he responded yes. He then asked again and some other customers decided to get involved for some reason. She refused to give him any information on how to make a complaint, and his anxiety at that point was so high he had to leave without buying the things he wanted. She was working this afternoon on 28th Sep 2025. She has brown hair in a side platt. Disgusting attitude. We’re going to make a formal complaint on top of this.
Almost identical in layout to other stores in the chain so easy to navigate around the aisles. Centre aisles at the rear cater for budget household and DIY items. Frozen and chilled goods are also located at the back of the store. Keep an eye on sizes, as the prices may be lower than expected because the volume is less. Good selection of continental foods on offer. Plenty of free parking outside with a large number of coin access trolleys.
I never had any issues in this particular store. Always found everything I needed. Staff is always professional and there to help. Just like any other store ( LIDL or others) it has its downsides but staff are doing their best. You won't find a perfect retail store.

Reasonable prices, good quality and the freshly baked on the premises pastries are a bargain, not to be missed. New store layout piles it higher but this has allowed wider aisle with a much more spacious feel to the shop. The middle in Lidl is now much expanded. Free parking available with disabled access very close to the store. They just need to staff and open more than just two of the checkout at a time. Long queues, slow service. Only two checkouts open and long wait times. It's gone down hill recently. A real shame
Always great value for money. The only place that keeps me sane at the moment with the cost of living soaring. Customer service is good.
