All the meat i bought had excessive liquid in the packaging. Probably because in the time i was in the store (1hour) they had lots of carts full of meat in the ailse. Yes they were stocking but they put too much out and mkst of the meat was out (non-refrigerated) the whole time i was there. Also didnt have the soft plastic recycling bin out front.

Pathetic customer service where staff will stand and lie to your face. Yes its cheap for a reason. Would rather pay more and be treated live a valued customer not an inconvenience to her chat yes Claire I mean you. Service does not get any better.

A very short visit indeed. Just for a can of drink. I found it clean, tidy, big car park and easy to get to. Theft prevention is in place so you will need to scan your receipt at the exit barrier inside.

I really don’t like the security guard. Today after shopping, I wanted to stay for a while because it was raining heavily and cold outside. But the guard came over and told me to leave, saying I was blocking the passage. I wasn’t blocking anyone or disturbing, and the corridor was very wide. I was really angry.

Nice clean store, but some of the systems they've put in place make it difficult if you are shopping with your child. Need coins for the trolleys, I got stopped after paying and told that I wasn't allowed to take my basket to the car and you have to present / scan your receipt on leaving - not the end of the world, but doesn't make for a great shopping experience when you've got your child in one arm, shopping in another and you're trying to leave after spending money in store.

Some nice stuff in here but they may as well close on a Sunday because the store appears to have been ravaged by locusts by noon. Clearly bad stocking strategies. Its surely not rocket science to order enough produce for average daily demand !?

This is the branch of Lidl I use most often but that may have to change, unfortunately. The biggest problem I have with Lidl (and Aldi) is how long it typically takes to check out via the normal (staffed) checkouts. I think the main problem here is that Lidl/Aldi and the like don't cater for the "10 items or less" queue (so you often find yourself with half a dozen items in your basket behind one or two people with a whole trolley-full). So the fact that this branch has a lot of self-service checkouts is a BIG plus for me. However, in the last year or so, especially, I have found that this branch runs out of stock (and remains out of stock) on many items that other branches still have. Maybe this is due to popularity and quantity of customers but it is frustrating. The Batts Mayo, for example, is, almost always, out of stock at this branch but usually available at other branches. On the plus side, I have always found the staff at this branch to be friendly, efficient, and helpful. The car parking facilities are good and, as I say, I very much like the fact that there are lots of self-service checkouts.

Love this place. Most of the pricing is way better than competing supermarkets, but I do have to say that we've noticed sudden price rises on our regular bits. They also have a habit of suddenly dropping lines without warning. The placeholders and price signs remain but no product for weeks. The Middle of Lidl is always worth checking out. Interesting stuff, a wide range and with good prices. Glad that it's our local. No shop is perfect but it's well laid out and easy to use. The Lidl incentive and scan mobile app gives attainable discounts and offers. Unlike other supermarket cards which take forever to save up to a fiver off your shop, you can easily get regular incentives to keep on shopping. Overall a great place to shop and save.

Excellent vfm on most items I buy. Cost was nearly half of what I usually pay at my small local supermarket. Easy store layout. Lots of different and changing products every time I visit. Helpful staff. Easy parking.
