My son and I stayed in an accessible room for four nights. The hotel is well-located for a stay in Reading. It's a short walk to shops, restaurants and transport links. Rooms were well equipped, clean and spacious. There is also a great communal space in the lobby with its own bar-cafe. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. While my son chose an English breakfast, I took advantage of the Continental choices. While many guests take advantage of this aspect, the room never felt too busy. It's a large space and there's a decent window for dining. We particularly enjoyed the late checkout (12pm). This chimed perfectly with our travel plans... Avoiding any needless wandering or waiting in the cold wet weather. Throughout, we met so many members of staff. All - without exception - were friendly, helpful and professional. This - above all else - left the greatest impression: that this was our home away from home.

Very centric, 5 mins walk from train station. The room was excellent, but the views on the window so - so. Comfortable and big bed, very clean. The best of all? Service! Excellent attention, kind and polite personnel. Oh, yes, don't forget to taste their delicious pizzas!

stayed one night and it’s perfect for travelling or passing through for a night or two. location is excellent and the staff at the desk were polite and welcoming. room does have a slightly funny smell and it wasn’t entirely sound proof but it was good value for what was paid. i’d stay again if necessary!

i wish the rooms had baths. after a shower the ceiling was dripping wet. the reception staff bothered us a total of 6 times for different reasons. the room and location was nice though. if you are an easygoing customer you will enjoy the hotel

Good experience at the ibis Reading Centre. Had an issue when paying at check in where one or two of the rooms was incorrect so I was being asked to pay £63 instead of £36. But the friendly front desk staff quickly sorted that out after I showed my booking reference email. Overall happy with the experience and would stay again if I'm travelling to London the next day as staying in Reading is easier for me.

It was indeed a very joyful experience for me to stay at Ibis Reading Centre. I did enjoy every moment of it. Room is nice, service is equally good and the young lady is simply excellent in managing the entire thing in a seamless manner. I really appreciate her skills. May God bless her. Cheers!

Really can't complain for an Ibis this one comes out rather well. For a budget hotel the sleep was a great one, the mattress was firm and the mattress topper above it was a must but from this I couldn't complain. The room was standard and the bathrooms were like going onto a cruise bathroom but was adequately clean. The staff were friendly and I ran into no problems. The selection of tea and coffee in the room were stronger and more expansive to that of a rival. The breakfast was not bad. The bacon was smoked and the pastries whilst not a strong selection was decent despite not being fully fresh (again you expect it for the price).

Stopped at this hotel last night. A great location in the centre of town. The room was fairly basic but clean and just what we needed for a one night stay. The staff were exception, well above what I would expect for a hotel of this type

Stayed here for one night. Ibis hotels are normally reliable and clean - this one was no exception. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Quite impressed with the room, the bed was very comfy, large TV, extra pillows supplied in the room. It was pretty clean (although there was a little bit of dust in some of the higher parts of the room). The only downside is that whilst there is an "air cooling" system, it's not air conditioned and the air cooling just doesn't work properly, no matter if you follow the instructions. Apart from that a great stay.

Stayed here for a conference and found it comfortable for a long stay. The bathrooms don’t have good ventilation, so daily towel changes are required. No fridge in the rooms gets annoying. Staff was very helpful and breakfast has a lot of options (including non-dairy milks).
