The host Raj, was very helpful and warm. The lodge was very clean, everywhere in the building was paid attention to and neat. The location is very close to the town center. The toilets were clean beyond expectations, the rooms tidy. Everything was a 10/10. And the host is one of the best hosts I have encountered.
A great stay in a lovely place. Raj helped us out in a true moment of need, he's an absolute saint. Would highly recommend the lodge as a place to stay if you're visiting Reading. It's clean, cosy, and extremely convenient. 10/10 stay, 11/10 host. Thank you so much Raj!

A very cute small guesthouse with comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms. I was personally welcomed by the owner who gave me a tour of the facilities and good conversation. The bathrooms were shared but well kept and everything worked well. Some toiletries were provided, but it would be best to bring your own. The bed in my room was a little too comfortable (I didn't want to get up) and lots of pillows and cushions are provided. Tea and coffee are in the room along with a fridge; handy if you are staying for a few nights. There are only four rooms, so noise and bathroom queues are not an issue, other than some traffic noise. My only negative comment would be that there is no way to control the heating; my room was sweltering and I has to open the window and run the fan. Perhaps this is more about personal preference. I paid £54 via Booking.com, having booked on the day of my stay. It was definitely worth the money. I will be back. Thank you Raj and team.
Raj is the most helpful landlord you will ever find. Very clean inside. (Don't be put off by the exterior. Very well decorated and maintained inside. My only slight problem, was the central heating, my room was a furnace, so slept with windows open, sorted. Well done Raj. Be seeing you again soon.

Nice friendly guest house, comfortable and clean accommodation for a reasonable price. WiFi worked well, any additional requests were met happily. Able to park at rear of property. Close walking distance to the station with lots of take away food shops nearby.
