I’m all for chatting to shoppers, especially when visiting a “local store” but when staff ignore customers because they are too busy having a conversation it really isn’t good enough, especially when they don’t apologise for keeping you waiting. Maybe some customer service training is needed in this store?

There are some lovely staff in this coop, really pleasant, however I will never step back inside the place again after yesterday. It's been a bit of a chore anyway due to Matt's rudeness and arrogance, he does the place zero credit, so self centred and rude but yesterday was simply degrading. I am recovering from a broken hip and wrist, walking using one walking stick and had additional surgery last week to re break and pin my wrist. I am wholly unable to use one hand and use the other to hold my walking stick. Some staff have been amazing, recognising that it's difficult for me just now. Yesterday however Tracey was adverse to my needing to put shopping in a bag on my shoulder to be carried to the till. She made a big issue of my needing to use a shopping trolley, I can neither walk without my stick nor use one hand whatsoever due to surgery last week.l I can neither steer a trolley one handed nor trust to leaning on one as a mobility aid. She questioned how I dress myself, she kept returning to my needing to use a trolley, even though I explained my situation. I felt that I needed to.justify my current disabilities to her. She told me that I need to get someone to either do my shopping for me or get help, I am just trying to gain some independence back in my life, and she told me to get home help in, this despite my coping, and still.holding down a very responsible job as I can work from home for now. She has previously asked.me some months ago if I was shoplifting, which I would never dream of doing. It's a simple truth to say that I felt humiliated and degraded by her attitude and the fact that she wasn't even slightly discreet about it. I literally hobbled home and sobbed. Nobody has a right to so publicly make anyone feel as degraded as I did yesterday, no compassion whatsoever and it has genuinely made my already sense of distress at the impact of my substantial injuries feel even worse.

Called in a few times when passing through. Always well stocked with a decent selection of wine and beer. Was impressed with the woman on the till Dawn, she was very patient and understanding with old people struggling with their needs. Good to know good personal service still exists in the age of self service, well done !

Our village is lucky to have this place. There’s not much you can’t get from here, including seasonal items. Shelves are always well stocked and I especially love the fresh baked goods - can’t beat a freshly baked French stick !! The staff are lovely and friendly. Never had a bad experience here - treat others how you want to be treated !! Big shout out to Elaine ! Our favourite :-) and Bryan for operating such a great store. Keep doing what you’re doing !!

So I am 16yr old boy coming home from college and wanting a drink so I go in and decide to get a Monster drink I go to pay and he asks if I'm 16 I say yes and he says "no your not you have to be 25 to buy it 16 to drink it" there were 2 other people behind me and thought that was a bit stupid and he kept on going and going until he declined me already scanned stuff and said get something eles. Worst store ever.

Very convenient store which I don't use as often as I should. Clean and tidy, well-stocked for a store of its size and the team there are always friendly and welcoming.

This was a delight. On a long walk through the area, enjoyed a couple of tango ice blast and very friendly staff. Also stopping outside to enjoy our drinks, realised that there was a free bike repair station as well what a great addition!!!
