I've used Woodfines both personally, and in business. I'm not going to pretend they're cheap, but no firm of solicitors is. They are always thorough & supportive though, their advice is good, they act honourably, and I've always been happy with the specialists appointed to act on my behalf.
Was dealing with Hannah with a very sensitive case. Have sent over 6 emails all ignored. Seems like she just wants my money and doesn’t want to support me as a Solictor should. Terrible My response to yours. I rang Hannah todays who words was I saw your review. I have been too busy to reply. I sometimes take 2 weeks to not reply to my clients! Once I told her I had the money she wanted to work with me. Too little too late. Not like any of you care. I want somebody to call me to discuss this. Hannah has my details!

We worked with the conveyancing team (Bedford) to sell and buy homes. They were incredibly diligent and in fact highlighted a serious issue (legal) with one property, that was ‘unknown’ to the vendor/agent. Absolutely atrocious company who have clearly got way too big for their boots. Four of us in the chain, all of us ready to exchange last week after nearly six months, except for Nic Dino at the Cambridge office who decided that no, we weren’t going to exchange until the 2nd September (for reasons unknown to us, and not explained to us) and that was that. Then he went off on annual leave, and as a consequence, the sellers at the top of the chain lost their temper and withdrew from the chain. Unfortunately not our own solicitors; if they were, we’d have been far more proactive before now, reporting them to the legal Ombudsman. Fortunately, we can still report them to the Law Society, and will be doing so.
We have had excellent service from Jenny Teall ; which means clear , speedy advice , and instruction. Have been able to set up Lasting Powers of Attorney and have complete trust in the outcome. Earlier in 2020 we started a process of selling our house. Owing to the corona virus out break we decided to stop the process, deciding to wait better times. Woodfines have not charged us for this initial work.(oops, hope they don't read this !) Will return to them for conveyancing at some stage.
