Rang land registry, they referred me back to shoosmiths, said they needed more time. Rang the caseworker, said she'd been on holiday, you couldn't make it up, they've e taken a month and counting, not interested I will suing and Ombudsman, shocking

Terrible experience. We had Kate dealing with our sale. Honestly couldn’t wish for a worst experience. Constantly ignoring our emails and phone calls. Really not very helpful with our queries. This place really made our whole experience a negative one and has really put me off from buying again. The customer service was shocking.

Shoosmiths is acting on behalf of Sourced Development Group in facilitating the purchase process between the developer and buyers. I purchased a unit in the Westminster Park Project in 2022, with Louisa Stevenson from Shoosmiths representing Sourced Development Group. The unit was scheduled for completion this year; however, the Long Stop Date has passed without practical completion. As a result, my solicitor served a formal rescission notice on 1 July 2025, as per the contractual terms. The developer was obligated to return my deposit within five working days, yet despite multiple follow-ups from my solicitor, we have received no response from Ms. Stevenson or Shoosmiths. This continued silence and lack of accountability are deeply concerning and give the impression of a highly questionable operation. The experience has been extremely distressing and unprofessional. I consider this behaviour completely unacceptable and evasive, and I fully intend to pursue legal action to protect my rights and recover my funds.

In our recent move, we used Swiitch both to conveyance our sale, and work to purchase our new house. We could not have had a better experience - it was, in every way, outstanding. We were really impressed with the Swiitch portal, which initially explained the various steps of the conveyancing process, and, throughout kept us up to date with where we were on the buying/selling journey. Our named contact, Katie, was absolutely fantastic. She was always at the end of the phone when we had a question or a concern. Many times, she was able to put us at our ease, and act on our behalf to contact the various solicitors involved in our transactions. Contrasting many moving stories that we have inevitably been told in the past few months, our experience, thanks to Katie and Swiitch, has been seamless, smooth and successful. We would not hesitate to recommend the company to others, and would happily use them again (although, hopefully, not for another few years!) Thank you so much.

Avoid! I work within the property industry and to say this is the worst transaction i've witnessed is an understatement on the 100+ cases i've dealt with. I've had the displeasure of working with Isha for the past three months; it's certainly an experience. Emails and Calls will not be responded too for weeks - then within a matter of days 30+ documents will be sent too me, completely overwhelming me. She has also decided to add some pretty outrageous fees to my purchase... £1,500 to review a fire safety document, that was known and avalible since my account was opened £275 to speak to a third party solicitor, because Switch were unable to witness my signatures, without charging an additional £400 £75 for a reviewing a updated mortgage offer (with a minor interest rate change only) £1,300 to fix a issue Swiitch appear to have made up by themselves, for which the bank and I do not have a issue. This is also coupled with higher searches, as Isha 'prefered' to review a document at double the expense to me. I look forward to completing on my purchase, in the same way I imagine a prison convict looks forward to being released from jail. If you've read this far and think - wow, that's a bit strong - don't worry, Swiitch, a brand of Shoosmiths, won't read this. It took them five weeks to review a email, I'll be completed by then... unless a new additional charge can be found?!

Typical slow solicitor service in dealing with a very straight forward property sale, the cherry on top was when they realised the proof of ID we have given them 3 months prior was not acceptable the day before exchange, Exchange was delayed 3 days, in a larger chain it could easily have caused a collapse, not remotely bothered or apologetic. Try your luck with a different solicitor.

Anjina Joseph is ignoring all my attempts to get an update on a property sale. It’s been 4 MONTHS!!!! 4 MONTHS. Cash buy. No chain. What is going on? I would avoid this company for anything to do with property sales

There should be a option for no stars. Please please DO NOT USE This company is my buyers solicitors we are now week 24 of selling our house, we both had no chain also my house is only a few years old so had no issues with searches, I have send everything over on the day of request to not hold anything up. They have asked for docs they already have again and again so my solicitor have had to resend, they come up with different excuses of why they can't give us a completion date also go weeks with no replys to cashing emails. I am about to lose my caravan I am buying for a self build as they are taking to long so I will be homeless. Do not use completely useless I hope my buyer doesn't have to pay all his fees it's disgusting.

From day one of opening the file with Sarah S… She kept us up to date with every part of the process regarding our purchase and allowed us to have complete faith that she had our home in full control. We would not hesitate to use Sarah as our solicitor on behalf of Shoosmiths again. Very recommended and we will personally never use anyone else. Thank you again Shoosmiths for making our purchase a quick, prompt process.
