   We ordered our wedding wine through Majestic Wines (Derby store) after a one-to-one tasting session, and the whole experience was excellent. We worked with Joe, who was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and their tasting notes but also friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. He guided us in choosing the perfect wines for our day, always mindful of our budget and pointing out when a bottle went over our limit. Joe also thought of practical details we hadn’t considered, such as whether screw tops or corks would work best for our venue, which made planning the day much easier. The tasting was relaxed with absolutely no pressure to buy, and we left with clear information, including helpful tasting notes for the wines we enjoyed. When we decided to go ahead, I was able to place the order over the phone with Joe, who arranged delivery directly to our venue in Newark—even with the restricted time slot our venue had provided with other weddings/events they had over the weekend. He kept me fully informed throughout, including details about the returns policy in case we had unopened bottles left over. On the delivery day (saturday before our wedding) Joe even gave me a courtesy call to check everything was okay, which felt really efficient and reassuring. After the wedding, we returned some unused bottles with no issues at all. From start to finish, Joe made the whole process seamless, and his knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness really stood out. We’re so grateful for the fabulous service from Majestic Wines in Derby and will definitely be returning whenever we need more vino!

   Me and my partner visited yesterday. Both quite new to drinking wine so was quite overwhelming seeing all the choices. The woman in there that helped us, Kelly I think her name was, was a delight. Gave us some good simple advice, some good recommendations and a few tasters. Will definitely be back!

   Bought prosecco for our wedding reception and prewedding party. It was made so easy as we were given lots of helpful advice, tasters and even able to return up to 25% of the bottles that were unopened. What's more they provide chiller bins for only a deposit that's fully refundable on return - very handy for when it was 38 degrees this summer!

   Tom was absolutely brilliant when we visited to buy wine and beer for a wedding party. He was only interested in meeting our needs . We tried wine and beer and whisky ! And we bought everything we needed on sale or return. We hired glasses and he even packed the car ! Marvellous service , excellent quality and all with a smile. I could not fault or recommend highly enough.

   Very surprised but in a good way. I usually buy my wine on line but the politeness and enthusiasm of the young man who assisted me was just like a breath of fresh air. The selection of wines on offer and in particular the range of Italian and New World wines was really good. Will be I think a regular customer in the future.
