TL;DR: Admiral Inn Guesthouse in Bracknell is an affordable, no-frills stay with excellent service and very comfy beds. Check-in is at the main hotel, and staff respond promptly to issues. Admiral Inn Guesthouse was perfect for my short stay in Bracknell. Itβs an inexpensive and basic option, but it delivered exactly what I neededβclean, quiet accommodations with excellent service. Check-in is done at the main hotel, as the guesthouse itself is unstaffed, so thatβs something to be aware of. When I had an issue with the heat in my room, they addressed it quickly and efficiently, which honestly is the best you can ask for in a budget stay. The bed was super comfy, making for a great nightβs sleep. If youβre looking for simple, comfortable lodging with responsive service, this is a solid choice!

Stayed 3 nights for work. Arrived in dark, and couldnβt find the location of hotel to collect keys. Luckily some people passing in car stopped as could see I was distressed. Once you know- itβs simple as across the road. However, location on maps only takes you to guest house. Instructions where to go should be listed and made clear. The locks on doors to main entrance and room are very difficult to use as broken and neatly hanging off. All being said- Iβd still stay again. Housekeeping brilliant, bed made everyday and fresh towels daily. My only fault is not being able to find where to collect keys . Thereβs no signs anywhere. For anyone reading- just cross over the road. And go between trees to a hidden path

Pretty standard hotel room, mattress wasnt overly comfortable. Theres a fridge if you're staying a few days but it was hellish loud so I unplugged it to sleep. Wifi was decent and there's little road or people noise. Check in is across road at pub, I arrived in dark so maybe theres a sign advising of this but I stood outside like a lemon until another guest helped me.

I stayed in the guest house for two weeks for work. All of the people that work here are really friendly, especially Tom! From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out he made sure everything about my stay was good. The hotel room was clean and recently refurbished. It was a short walk across the road to the Cunningham hotel who also run the guest house. Here you could order the most amazing Yorkshire wrap which I would highly recommend!! Another great dish was Lukeβs special chicken burger, but the Yorkshire wrap is definitely the best option! They also have a lovely big garden. I really enjoyed my time here, and I would stay here again.

Well-maintained accommodation. Very helpful staff. Cleanliness was top-notch. Located in a quiet area. Could do with a microwave and a more decent fridge. Nice that there is an outlet for shavers in the bathroom but could do with having a mirror with it. Overall, nice experience, will stay again.

Convenient and cheap, the room was a little aged (a few marks, missing bulbs and springy floorboards) but comfortable enough. Decent fridge, nice to have microwave, effective shower (shampoo but not body wash provided). Friendly staff told me that, since I was isolating after a trip, it was "ok" if I turned out to have COVID; not sure how to take that. Discount on pub meals, but I didn't risk taking advantage of it. Noise from upstairs room a little intrusive, and company from one spider (fortunately small, unfortunately over my bed) but no big deal. Walking distance from cinema, kebab van, garages and (slightly farther) the rest of Bracknell. Would stay again.

*This review is seperate to the Admiral Cunningham* We booked here about 5 days in advance after a day at Thorpe Park, just somewhere to rest out head before traveling the next morning. We arrived at the pub across the road to collect the keys and got a really great welcome and service from the staff. They were brill. Unfortunately the hotel itself across the road is really poor in terms of cleanliness and quality. We arrived and instantly there was a group of lads drinking beers out the front, keeping the front door of the hotel propped open with a chair. Nice and secure. We went to find our room - in fairness, the communal areas had a smell of paint about them and the walls did look freshly painted but that's about where it ends. The carpets were stained and dirty, floorboards creaking and doors slamming. The room itself was small but that's fine, it has a bathroom, tv, mini fridge, wardrobe, microwave, coffee facilities so at least all the necessities. Sadly the cleanliness wasn't great. On the desk there was a huge iron burn. The curtains were stained. The plaster on the window ledges is peeling off. Something had been ripped off the wall in the bathroom. Just general poor quality. The bed itself was squeaky and rickety. The window next to the bed also opens out pretty much directly into someone else's window - so despite the heat we had to keep our curtains closed. This is clearly a hotel used for builders and contractors, not really ideal for a "nice" stay as a couple. Plus side was it was the cheapest we could find at Β£63 and had a carpark.

This place is a great place to stay the room was clean and fresh great shower all the facilities one would need, however the internet was not brilliant and the tv did not really work as a tv the picture kept cutting out. Other than that it was great. Oh and one more thing checking in was done at a pub called the Admiral Cunningham which is not far away but just need to know where it is first and it was not on Booking.com anywhere when we booked the room.

No-one to let us in so had to walk to hotel in another road to collect keys and pay in advance. Had we seen room would not have stayed. Room was terrible. Shower had mould on the mastic at the bottom and mould on the celling, chipboard bottom of shower door was rotting. Lump of black slime on the shower mat. Towel rail hanging off the wall, shower was cold but did warm up after 10 mins of running the shower and the hot tap in the sink to get rid of air blockage, light above sink did not work. Tv was like a postage stamp on the wall. Breakfast was in a bag (porridge pot, cereal bar and tiny orange juice in a carton - a kids meal). Orange scum in kettle. Empty take away containers and chips outside the front door..... but bedding was clean! Not happy at all would not recommend to anyone.
