   Great location. Despite being on a main road, it was set back. Nice, small hotel and the staff super friendly. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and they had a good range of options for all dietary requirements. As someone who is gluten intolerant I ate here with no issues. Staff were aware and were able to supply GF items.

   Stayed here for a week for work and what a great hotel , the room had was very clean quiet and also had a nice big bath which was great. My colleagues and myself ate in the bar every evening and the food and service was excellent. If I was visiting again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

   I’ve been staying at the Mercure for the past couple of weeks due to work, and the service has been absolutely tremendous. The staff have gone above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, Ash, Rupa, and Sijoy have been exceptionally attentive, friendly, and professional. always greeting me with a smile and making sure everything I needed was taken care of. Their hospitality truly made a difference and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.

   I have stayed here multiple times over the last three years. I can not fault the new Manager and I am always super happy to see Rupa and Ash on the evenings. They’ve been the best servers over the duration of my stay. They’re always so friendly and helpful. I also can not fault the reception staff but especially Laura always super happy to see everyone and always super helpful. Overall a wonderful working team that make you feel very welcome! You will all be missed ❤️

   Really nice hotel, great staff and very delicious breakfast. I stayed over the weekend and there isn't even one thing l could complain about. The receptionist was super friendly, got the all information what l needed. And for the price room was really good. Would highly recommend. Big thank you to all the staff working there, keep doing a great job. Will be back for sure.

   Not really worth one star, didn't stay overnight. We attended a charity party all went well till the music started when I tripped on the so called sticky dance floor earning myself a compound wrist fracture, apart from initial attendance by a waitress! The management & establishment couldn't care less in fact completely indifferent, disgusted!!!

   Couldn't rate the rooms because i didn't stay the night.. I did pop in for a quick beer and food tho.. the food was really nice. I found it a little expensive but with the cost of things at the minute and prices rising everywhere I felt it was with in reason.. I'll definitely come back to eat again if I'm in the area. Only rateing 4 stars because I didn't stay.

   Had mine and husband wedding here on the 10th September 2022. I must say I was really impressed how it turned out. The day was amazing and the decorations were lovely and fabulous. Richard and Rachel were amazing. Could not fault anything that happen on the day. It ran smoothly as it should. Our food choices we choose tasted amazing and all our guests said so too. Amazing place to stay too. Room was lovely and had a view of the fields. The breakfast was delicious. Definitely come here to stay if we had the chance to.
