   Stayed at the Red Lion as was seeing a show at The Haymarket. Excellent location for the theatre & restaurants. Very welcoming, attentive staff both in reception & the dining area. Wouldn’t hesitate booking again

   Lovely welcoming staff. Good sized room with twin beds. Tea/coffee making facilities. Large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Easy walk to the Mall, restaurants and theatres. Stayed overnight and would book again. I recommend this hotel.

   I was running late due to work commitments, and the lovely receptionist I spoke to on the phone, I believe Sarah, was so polite, explained clearly how to gain entry to the hotel after 11pm when the doors are locked, which helped to relieve some anxiety around my delay. The night porter was very professional and opened the door promptly, explained everything clearly at check in and asked if I required a wake up call. The room was very comfortable and clean, comfortable bed also! I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again if I return to the area in the future!

   Just had our “Surprise” wedding reception here. Staff were more than helpful in getting the room set up despite the fact we were essentially self catering. Moved food into their fridges to keep it cool and kept topping up as needed. Great room for a largish party of 100 or so and despite the 30 degrees outside the air conditioning kept us cool. The staff were really helpful including at the end when we had lots of tables to sort out and clear they did most of it for us making our evening as enjoyable as possible.

   The rooms were clean, everyday English breakfast. You can get the breakfast customised as per your taste. Service was mind-blowing. WiFi connectivity issue I faced at times. Cheers!!

   It was freezing, I couldn't sleep either take a shower cos of the cold. Stuff at the reception told me only " we forgot to switch on the heater, sorry" and that's it. Manager told me that he can provide 50% off for my next stay at this place - which sounds like a joke to me. This is not what hospitality should look like, this is not a good way of running a hotel. Rooms are small, not very clean, very basic.

   Staff were terrific, really friendly and helpful. Rooms a little dated, but everything there that you need. Would I take the wife here? Absolutely not. Is it OK for an overnight stay when in the area for business? Yes it is. Would I stay here again? Probably not...

   Location ideal for exploring and free parking is a massive bonus. All staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious. Our rooms were quiet but we did staymidweekso probably didn't have as much noise from nearby bars. Breakfast is buffet style as expected but this included precooked toast which is just weird However the lovely breakfast lady cooked some fresh for us so thank you. The only moan would be the shower which was just a trickle. However we were on the 3rd floor sowater pressure can be a problem. Overall a very good choice and we will be back. Thank you.
