    By far the most defensive and arrogant practice manager I’ve ever seen. All Jo Loach does is defend errors, miscommunications and them forgetting to submit test results. The manager needs replacing.

    Terrible to get an appointment, I tried to do on NHS app but no, I messaged them to see if I needed one they messaged back to say yes call in for an appointment. Stay on the phone forever to be told no appointments, call back next week. Can I book one for next week? No you have to call in again. Can I do an appointment online, no. Ridiculous and unrealistic for people that need to book time off work. Very substandard service in this day and age.

    We are new patients and the service has been very good. Receptionists, the nurse and one of the drs were really helpful in getting a prescription sorted. I was really stressed about it, I cannot fault all of the staff involved. Seems to be a good choice for us to be here !!!

    I wish I was able to put 0 STARS for this centre! I have never come across such a bad medical centre, the doctors and receptionists have no sense of care at all! They constantly miss diagnose which included missing a double ear infection on my 10 month old daughter, our parents instincts kicked in and took her to A&E where they immediately found the ear infections. Shocking that training doctors can miss this!! This is just 1 of many issues we had had with them with regards to our baby. Today, I saw a doctor with an issue which was very worrying for me and Dr.Khan was completely unhelpful and immediately just wanted to issue me antibiotics and get me out of the door..... When I said I also have another issue regarding my stomach which I have had problems with in the past which makes me liable to stomach ulcers, he snapped at me and said no I can only deal with issue at a time and I must re-booked another appointment (3 weeks wait). This is absolutely shocking! why the hell do I need to do this and why could he could not just deal with it there and then, I basically just wanted referring to a gastric specialist. Another stupid procedure they have is they make you go into centre to re-booked prescriptions as they do not allow you to do it over the phone as they cannot identify you..... Yet when you go into the centre, they do not require any I/D??? Makes no sense whats so ever and just a waste of peoples time. Avoid this practice at all costs!! I have now moved out of the area so I no longer have to be disappointed with the abysmal service provided here.

    I am over the moon with the service . I was dubious when moving back to Packmoor to use them as years ago we did not receive a good service . Since the β€˜takeover’ things seem to have changed dramatically. The reception staff are incredibly attentive and will bend over backwards to try to accommodate our needs . When we have needed an emergency appointment we always get one , when we need a prescription it’s always put through promptly . We do have various problems with our children and their acute medical needs but nothing is ever too much trouble . I have never experienced a practice as good as this !     Reception staff have been nice and understanding. Never had bad experiences with them but it's impossible to get an appointment. You can expect to wait about two weeks. It's ridiculous. You have to ring repeatedly at 8 in the morning day after day to get an appointment with a doctor and you never see the same doctor twice.

    This medical centre is much improved since my last visit. They have sorted out their online booking system, appear to have more doctors on duty now and the reception staff seem to be more organised. Largely I think a lot of problems with appointment booking is down to a national shortage of doctors. It would be good to see the return of blood testing services at Packmoor. I also think the reception staff could need more hands, especially in the morning when they are taking a large amount of telephone calls for on the day appointments. Well done to the staff at Packmoor Medical Centre for improving this vital and much needed service.
