    I have had a profoundly disappointing experience with this letting agency. Having rented from them in the past, I encountered consistent issues, including frequent and unnecessary inspections every three months. This constant monitoring felt more like harassment than professional conduct and created a very uncomfortable living environment. Additionally, the staff member I recently dealt with was exceedingly rude and unhelpful, making me feel like a burden simply for seeking assistance. This pattern of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their professionalism. The other staff member I interacted with was not only unhelpful but also displayed a noticeable lack of courtesy, making me feel as if I were inconveniencing them by simply asking for assistance. This lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable and has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. It is important to understand that refusing to acknowledge or reflect on negative feedback is unproductive. Continually deflecting criticism with excuses or dismissive remarks, rather than addressing the underlying issues, creates the impression that you believe your work is beyond improvement. This approach limits professional growth and discourages constructive dialogue. Feedback ,particularly when it is critical,is an opportunity to learn and improve. Ignoring it or responding defensively not only prevents progress but may also lead others to disengage or avoid future interactions. Despite having clearly explained the reasons for my one-star review in the email I sent today, your public response suggests a lack of professionalism in how customer concerns are handled. Such interactions can negatively affect trust and credibility. Based on this experience, I would not recommend your services, and I will advise friends and family to avoid using them in the future.

    The worst experience I've had with an estate agent in Reading, which is saying something. There were so many problems that I ended up moving out within a month. A lot of the problems were to do with their dreadful customer service: - During an issue where I had no heating (in November), they provided two small heaters (for a two-bedroom house), but not for four days and not until the day it was fixed anyway. When the agent handed them to me, she said "Are you happy now?" - No solution was offered to the issue of having no hot water at this time, except when my property manager recommended that I fill the bath using the kettle. - I was told that no one at Parkers has the authority to engage an emergency plumber, which strikes me as an extremely dangerous policy. - My property manager refused to answer my calls after I dared to suggest that Parkers weren't being very useful. - They disagreed with me on an extremely important issue affecting the property, despite the fact that I had provided evidence and they had provided no counter-evidence. - They couldn't be bothered to read (or write) e-mails properly, and so I was often asked questions I'd already given the answers to. In addition to that, when I looked around the property it was in need of a professional clean, which I was told it would have. And indeed it did have this - but it occurred before other remedial work took place, so the property was not clean again by the time I moved in. Please don't put yourself through the aggravation. Find another property that is not marketed or managed by Parkers. EDIT: Regarding the response from the owner, please note that they have quoted the initial response from The Property Ombudsman, and not the response upon appeal, which upheld the complaints about customer service.

    We recently moved to the UK and Parkers helped us to secure a home here to live. I can bet that they are the best in the market and extremely professional, just as I wanted. Ruby was assigned to my tenancy arrangements and assisted through out the process and helped to move in. The process was very smooth and hassle free. Everything was online, clear information, and the process was very swift. I did not have to wait for any steps more than a day.
