   Recently sold my rental property in Purley on Thames, through Village Properties. Had a very positive experience, from the initial meeting and valuation with James and the subsequent sale being dealt with by Riccardo and Sarahjane. Communication was very good and all details of the sale were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this Estate Agency and would definitely use them again. Special thanks to Sarahjane for quick responses to minor concerns along the way.

I've found that all the staff in the letting office (Jodi, Simone, Sarah-Jane) are very professional but also very friendly, and will go the extra mile to make my experience as a tenant a good one.    I just had to share my experience with Village Propertys in Tilehurst from start to finish, When Mr. James Fletcher came around To view the property and give a valuation I found him incredibly professional and helpful and knowledgeable .He guided me through the whole experience .Told me what to expect and arranged for photographs to be taken. The photographs were amazing. I had many compliments from my neighbours and friends, and when it came to our first viewing the week we actually put the property on the market it sold!! Then it was down to paperwork and searches and solicitors another mind field!! We were guided by Sarahjane , this lady definitely knows her job! She was amazing professional knowledgeable and most of all approachable. With her help and guidance she made the whole experience easy , Even when our solicitors were making things very difficult, We highly recommend this company especially the two people that dealt with our sale and move, Mr James Fletcher and Sarahjane, And the rest of the team at village property’s

   We were so pleased that we chose VP to sell our house. James was brilliant and Riccardo and Joe were amazing in following up on all viewings (really hardworking and committed) and the team there really listened to our priorities. I couldn’t fault any part of their Service. Huge thank you to Sarah Jane for managing to get us from offer to completion within about 7 weeks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Selling and moving house is certainly a stressful experience but I had full confidence and trust in VP throughout and this took away a lot of the unnecessary stress.

   We are absolutely disappointed in the agency. Awful service when the agency let owners and buyers down rushing for the first good deal. We went to view a house on Saturday (which was Easter holiday), absolutely loved it! we were getting our papers ready for Tuesday, as Monday was a bank holiday as well. We also sent an email to the agent letting them know about our upcoming very reasonable offer (above the guide price!!) they didn’t even share it with the owner, however we were first time buyers with no chain and good amount of money in cash. They let the owner accept the first good offer and sold the property the same day. A good agency would never sell a house with a great potential that quickly. They would wait for better deals at least for a few days. We are gutted, because we were ready to negotiate! Owners would get more and we would get a perfect house we dreamed of! Never using the agency again, they neglect people and great offers and only work for their own profits!
