Pathetic After sale service Recently, I submitted a positive review about placing an order in DFS Derby. Unfortunately, the after-sales service is pathetic. My order has not arrived on the actual date, and it has been about a month now since the actual delivery date. Don't trust their delivery dates; the customer care team only gives you a kind sorry, that's it. There is no follow-up action. The website mentions that they will resolve issues within 48 hours, but the customer care team says 72 hours. There has been no callback even after a week. So, be cautious!!! before purchasing anything from this store. Unless you're lucky, you may receive it on time; if there is any issue, you won't receive any support other than a sorry from their end.

My dad and I were helped by Peter who was professional and knowledgeable! We were given a great over view of the sofas and not pressured, like on other places, into a sale. We found the perfect sofa for my dad and we came away happy! Great experience and totally recommend DFS Derby!

1 star is generous. Sofa was only 5 months old and the material started peeling, independent report confirms manufacturing fault, guardsman confirmed manufacturing fault and originally rejected repairing it, DFS? Donβt want to know. Given 3 different reasons for the same issue. We have 2 peeling seat cushions, another is rippling (what it does before peeling). Weβve also had a failed recliner motor within 5 months and a failed splitter cable and switch within 8 months. DFS replaced those however, have installed the switch upside down! Raised a section 75 with the finance company who sided with DFS ignoring all our evidence and independent report and believed their lies of them sending 3 independent engineers to assess. They have sent 2 engineers who are employed by DFS and are not independent at all. Reported to furniture ombudsman as their lack of taking responsibility itβs disgusting. When ombudsman contacted DFS Derby (where we purchased from) the manager (who was adamant he stood by his βengineersβ) all of a sudden wanted to visit to discuss the issue when he never bothered before. We refused the visit due to the lies that have been told and offered a recorded video call instead. Surprise, surprise not heard from him since. Complete con artists and ignored our consumer rights completely. The finance company legally takes the lead in resolution as theyβve essentially purchased the goods, so we served them with official notice. If no resolution offered weβll be going to small claims to get back what we have paid for the suite, the cost of independent report, legal fees and for them to collect this rubbish on their own dime! Facebook has a page called DFS/Sofologyβ¦-COMPLAINTS. Recommend viewing that to see what DFS are really like. Theyβre also being investigated by BBC Watchdog and independent journalists for how they treat customers and poor product manufacturing etc.

Very happy with the service we received the chap was very pleasant and explained everything to us. Also our delivery date was brought forward by 2 weeks. As this was day after boxing day it wasn't convenient. As decorations still up and we had plans. I rang them and they instantly changed the date to be convenient. The delivery drivers were sound and protected our paintwork before carrying the sofa I. The sofa looks lovely I'm very happy

We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from DFS under their care plan. Our sofa had a mouldy front leg, and we requested a repair, which was agreed upon. However, the technician who came out did a poor job. Instead of replacing the leg, he swapped it with a back leg, leaving the mouldy leg at the back and hoping we wouldn't notice. Not only was this dishonest, but he also damaged our sofa and home in the process. He slammed the sofa back down, which caused further damage to the furniture and left marks on our flooring. To make matters worse, he applied glue to the fabric, bent the zips, and damaged the inside of the sofa. We trusted DFS to handle the repair properly, but this experience has left us with a sofa in worse condition than before. I would strongly urge others to be cautious and make sure repairs are done correctly, as this situation has been frustrating and upsetting. We are still waiting for a proper resolution.

I have never given a review on Google but people need to know. The worst service and the worst experience with a sofa company ever. No communication and no consistency in what they say. None of them knows what they are doing. I have never seen a company who doesnβt know where their product is! All what we keep being told is just to expect a call within an amount of time but no one turns up. It's been more than 3 months and here we are still in the same problem. A sofa that has been lost, a broken loan sofa and the delivery of the purchased sofa has not taken place yet even though it's at the local store. The deepest degree of frustration. They are not good at all at managing any crisis or helping the customers.

I fully agreed with other recent reviews and recommend people actively avoid this specific store. I am yet to receive my sofa but to date they have managed to mess up providing my details to the finance company, notification that I would be away and uncontactable and did not pass on the details to the finance company, nearly causing them to terminate the finance agreement. There is clearly no checking, reviewing or admin management. Avoid the stress their incompetency will cause you and purchase from elsewhere

I would rather sit on a firework than a sofa from here, excellent service right up to the exact point your receipt is printed, then they might aswell wave goodbye whilst laughing and trip you up at the door for effect. 6 months to get the correct seat base foam, utterly ridiculous!

Worst customer service I have ever received. Ordered indulgence corner sofa in oyster back in march recently got delivered and was clearly a different colour to the colour that we seen in store. Disputed this straight away after seeing the sofa in person, to then get a call saying it is the right colour when it was clearly not. Have had 2 weeks of calls and online chats to try and sort this out to which I have gotten no where. To pay 3k for a sofa we did not order and to be treated so badly is horrendous. Advice to anyone ordering the indulgence sofa DONT you will not get the correct colour on delivery day.
