   Ive been with the practice for a long time and there are multiple issues here. Most of the staff are friendly, but the appointments are so hard to get. Also the doctors don’t believe their patients. My mum almost died from gallbladder issues. She had liver failure before anyone took her seriously. She kept getting sent home with “it’s just gas, it’s anxiety, it’s this, it’s that..” this went on for 3 years. The hospital visits were the same. Just being gaslit to the point that she nearly died. The doctors need to take their patients seriously and do as many test as needed not just turn people away. Waiting a week for an appointment is awful. Also some receptionists are not personable. I was told they don’t have any details for a referral they made for me. Which isnt true as ive been told about stuff like this many times. Im looking for different doctors

   Reception staff are always so helpful and understanding and have got me appointments quickly. I’ve just had to call for some info that was emailed straight to me. My daughter had to wait weeks for the same info from her surgery. I’ve only lived here a few months and the difference between silverdale and my old surgery is amazing.

   The lady in the reception was ignoring us at all and did not even tell the health visitor that we were there, that we waited for ages, while the health visitor was free!! The health visitor is amazing though. She is brilliant and very professional.

   First time used these doctors in nine years and won’t be using again. Sent the wrong prescription over to the chemist for my poorly nine year old. Took almost two hours and lots of calls from myself and the chemist to get a new prescription meanwhile my daughter was sat getting sicker by the minute. When they did do a prescription they gave her something I had requested she not have due to allergies within my family. Shocking from start to finish. Thank god for the lovely staff from Cornwells who looked after us. And from what I saw today they have lots of problems with the surgery caused by silly mistakes. Can I just add to this after reflection it came to me that not one person I spoke to said sorry for the mistake made.

   Was sent here by my doctor, followed all the instructions provided for a blood test and was refused initially because I didn't have a printed copy of a blood form (essentially a bar code and a url on a page). The receptionist asked me to email it to the surgery inbox which did not work. So I was essentially refused this vital and time sensitive blood test because the surgery did not have an operational email inbox, when I suggested other solutions they refused because I was 'not one of their patients'. I followed all of the GPs instructions and once again am faced by the inconvenience of having to put my health on the line.

   Awesome! This was my paediatricians and now my Doctors. They have saved my life more than once with their quick thinking and they are brilliant. The Reception is always warm, friendly and accommodating too.

   The doctors and nurses at the practice are all lovely and helpful but it’s a shame that you can’t say the same about the receptionists. Some of them are awfully rude and disrespectful and should attend disciplinary meetings. They are rude to your face in the surgery but they are even worse on the phone.

   The staff are friendly and helpful. That's if you get to speak to them, the phone lines are a joke and just funnel you to a website that does not provide any useful information or purpose. 30 minutes on the phone to find out where my prescription was is a joke. Especially when the website which your reminded about every minute on the minute doesn't have any area where simple queries can be solve.
