Had cardiothoracic surgery under GA, as NHS referral. Whole experience was excellent, staff were lovely - friendly and supportive and explained procedures and meds clearly and thoroughly. Food was good, although coffee was undrinkable!!
I wanted to thank one of your nurses for taking absolute care of my friend and of myself on Friday afternoon when my friend forgot some info regarding her medication and this lovely young lady managed to trace her consultant in order to get the right information. She was an absolute angel. Patti.
The nursing staff we met were all very professional. However behind the scenes things are not working so well. We lacked basic information all the way through my husbands treatment which put us at a disadvantage. Would not use this hospital again.
I recently visited Spire Southampton to see Mr. Frame, an orthopaedic knee surgeon, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff were all friendly, efficient, and genuinely caring. Mr. Frame took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease. The whole experience, from the consultation to follow-up was smooth, reassuring, and handled with great attention to detail. My knee already feels much better, and I’m confident I’m in excellent hands for my recovery. Highly recommend Spire Southampton and Mr. Frame for anyone needing knee treatment or surgery.
Referred to Spire following a back problem that ended up under the care of Evan Davies. The whole journey from initial tests and scan, pre-op, surgery and aftercare has been fantastic, and all of the staff looked after me as well as I’d have hoped. Credit to the ladies providing the food to the patients too, very friendly and attentive. Thanks to all at Spire.
