Does not even deserve 1 star. Went to a&e at approx 1045pm spent 6 hours waiting in reception then a further 4 hours waiting for a doctor to come and see me. An absolute joke of a system. It was not until the day shift came on that patients started being seen. I will never go here again one off the worst a&e departments ever.

Honestly the best hospital I have ever been to! I’ve used the maternity, a&e and the paediatrics and all are wonderful. A couple of nights ago, I brought my 5 week old baby into A&E as his temperature was very high, within 10 minutes we were seen by nurse David - who is absolutely incredible! We were then seen by a doctor who did a check over and decided to take us to the paediatric unit where we stayed for 2 nights. My baby boy is home now and I cannot explain how thankful I am for our nhs and every single staff member that we encountered with. I cannot remember everyone’s name on the Paediatric ward 1 however I would like to say a HUGE thank you to nurse Chelsie as she was absolutely fantastic with her help. All of the staff were amazing and showed so much care and concern for my little one. The checks were every 2 hours on the dot and I felt so comfortable with saying anything I needed to. Thank you so much to A&E and Ward 1. You’re all truly life savers!

Recently had a colonoscopy at this hospital, the endoscopy department were fantastic. A little wait time however it’s standard. I cannot fault them, always checking in and ensuring I had everything I needed. The nurses here really do like their jobs and it’s refreshing to see. Thank you Queen’s!

All doing there best with the limited funds provided. Sent in by the Docs after suspected DVT to SDEC and the care was nothing short of superb. Both Asian doctors were courteous and professional and the two nurses were lovely. Naomi in SDEC gets a special mention :) Yes it can take time to get through the queue but take a deep breath and then on the other side it is a well run hospital that we are lucky to have. Don't let that millionaire Farage take this off us as it's one of the best free services we have in this country.

Upbeat, kind and committed staff. My dad was admitted following a visit to A and E on 27th December 2022. At such a busy time of year, the helpfulness, positivity and thoughtfulness of all staff we encountered was so noticeable. My dad was really well looked after and doctors, nurses, assistants and receptionists couldn’t have been more helpful. We’re all really grateful thank you. Special mention to the Ward 3 staff and the wonderful discharge ward team ☺️

We have been with our daughter to Pediatric Assessment Unit and we had to stay in hospital for 3 days. Everyone was very nice to my daughter and tried to make her staying there as pleasant as they could. We are very grateful for their care.

Unsafe hospital separate me from my legal guardian which was quite distressing also had to wait 4 hours for a appointment and they're vending machine steal money which is frankly best part of the experience Which isn't saying much. That's sums up button hospital. You'll get money stolen from you and you won't get a service

Went to A&E about a month ago at 9pm.I was there for about 8 hours, although I was there for a long time, the treatment I received was excellent. The staff were kind and respectful. They do their job under such great pressure. My treatment is now on going.Thank you all very much .
