We stayed in this hotel last night on a party couch trip not all couch party are drunk and don’t notice the mess. Not sure where to start dirty hotel with over worked miserable looking staff . The first room we were given was filthy with mouldy window sills terrible damp smell no heating, you can smell damp in all corridors also . We were offered a second room damp smell not so bad . Rooms need gutted sorry full hotel could do with seriously make over I will say sheets were clean . Food is a whole new level never once did you see a member of staff check temperatures new food flung in on top of any left . I watched a member of staff replace the pate he picked any that had been knocked of previous plate lying in chill cabinet on top of new load he was putting out . There would be a member of staff supervising the food process so kitchen aware when things need replacing mess cleaned up . One toaster working in morning , I’m using the term working loosely you let your bread go round once take it out turn over then need go again as only one side toasts . Had to wait 30 minutes at bar as there was no glasses . Someone needs to step up and manage teams . I could keep going but let’s not pretend these comments are going make any difference . This was a mystery tour we were on so didn’t know where we were stay as differently WOULD NOT PICK THIS HOTEL

Has a lot of knockers, I can only speak as I find, my rooms problems were dealt with decisively, I wasn't after any recompense, I know how it is, some people want blood for very little. There deal in the restaurant was fantastic!! A starter of some very fine tomato soup, a steak and chips and a beer...for Β£16, that is beyond great value. Very tasty, enjoyed!!

Hotel was clean. Room was comfortable and facilities were really good. Staff were very friendly and professional and made our long weekend stay great. The food was fabulous too, we had half board and at each meal there was plenty of choice. The food was great quality, well presented - buffet style, tasty as well as being plentiful - always being replenished so no-one would miss out. No hesitation in telling everyone how great everything was and would certainly use this hotel again - real value for money and couldn't fault a thing. Thanks to the staff for a great time.

The gentlemen working the night shift were great to talk to. Wonderful service from the night shift team. The bar is open 24 hrs, if not we were notified. Dinner served from 5-8pm. Perhaps 6-9pm would be better? Breakfast served 7-9 am. However I didn't enjoy the breakfast. The tomatoes seemed to be tinned. Bacon could be cooked a little more. Sausages overcooked. Hashbrown was good but the egg was not runny in the middle like it normally is. Breakfast not included in the price. Though you can get toast and coffee for free. Good experience overall.

I got my bag stolen from my room and the manager Sandra was incredibly rude, and more concerned with whether I was still checked in than the fact my bag had been stolen. And it was her mistake that assigned the room to someone else, who saw the opportunity to steal my belongings. Awful service from her. Thankfully the night manager Cameron was a lot more helpful and managed to get me my bag back, as well as a room upgrade. Still, sadly, I cannot recommend staying here for leisure purposes. It was a needs must stay for me.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was basic but it was clean and had everything needed. The food was amongst the best we’ve ever eaten in a hotel of this kind. We will be back soon.

Disappointed. Would have been 3 or maybe even 4 stars if they'd just got a few simple things right. Toilet flush was only working half the time, blood stains on bed throw, bath tub missing a plug (defeats the whole point of having a tub), windows were blocked off so you got no natural light even during the day which is a bit strange if you plan to work from the room, it seemed like the toilet paper was being rationed, the entire room had a run down vibe even though it was probably only recently built. Staff not rude but not exactly welcoming or polite either (not exactly what you expect from 'hotel' staff, probably just overworked). On the plus side the location was convenient for the airport and the place was quiet at night.

I stayed for a fortnight for work. I loved it. The breakfast and dinner option was great, the food was very good. The staff were all helpful and I would happily stay there again. Fantastic value too. Thanks all. Keep up the sterling work.
