   BSAC Ocean Diver Course – My partner and I recently completed the BSAC Ocean Diver course with Dive Crew in November 2025, and we honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to support us. We were fortunate to learn with Roger, Richie, Steve, Matt and Ian—each one an exceptional trainer, endlessly patient and incredibly knowledgeable. We attended two pool sessions, each about three hours long, which gave us time to get comfortable with the equipment and learn the essential skills. The instructors were calm, reassuring and always happy to spend extra time on anything we needed. I was very nervous before starting, but their professionalism and steady approach made the whole experience far less daunting. Although we couldn’t attend the scheduled open-water weekends, Dive Crew arranged private sessions that fit around our shift patterns. As luck would have it, the weather turned bitterly cold, but the team remained upbeat and made sure it didn’t affect our training or enjoyment. Equipment fittings were arranged at convenient times for us, reducing unnecessary travel, and before our open-water sessions we received lots of helpful advice on what to bring and wear. Dive Crew even brought extra kit just in case we needed it. The open-water days themselves included several dives, blending skill practice with time to explore. The balance between structured learning and the freedom to get used to diving was perfect. We especially enjoyed exploring the sunken plane and other features in Wraysbury. Throughout both days, the instructors were fantastic—patient, attentive and always ensuring we felt safe, supported and comfortable. We genuinely cannot recommend Dive Crew enough. They created a calm, enjoyable learning environment from start to finish, and we’re already looking forward to returning for future courses.

   Having wanted to get into diving for many years but not had the time, I visited DiveCrew firstly in October this year to enquire about the steps required. I was immediately made to feel at home, with friendly knowledgable staff (Emily and Alex) who guided me through the requirements, and encouraged me to use the ‘Try Dive’ session (great value btw) to see if it was for me. Having completed that, I moved on to the PADI Open Water course. Two sessions in the pool with Terry followed by two sessions in Wraysbury Lake with Martin just underlined the care and professionalism of the whole DiveCrew team. The equipment they provide as part of the training for novice divers like me is also second to none. I could not recommend them highly enough and encourage anyone who is thinking about learning to dive to use this team. Thank you DiveCrew !

   What a joke of an operation, unsafe training of my child and decided to pull them from the course (£595 wasted) and trained elsewhere.. Now qualified and diving happily together. As an instructor I didn’t want to teach them myself.and opted for a local centre I’ve complained for years about low air fills 180/190 bar fills when I’ve paid for 230 and don’t get me started on the nitrox fills being well off percentage/pressure and delay. I would say get some decent staff but having met the guy that runs it, I now realise it starts from the top.

   After chatting to the very helpful Alex over the phone this morning I visited the shop where we were looked after by Charlie. She was very knowledgeable and patient. At no point during the 45 mins she spent with us as we tried on/fitted various pieces of kit did i feel at all rushed. I am satisfied that we came away with the equipment we needed. A very good experience!

   Had a great experience with all of the team at Divecrew. I have just finished my open water course with Martin and he was absolutely fantastic. After explaining my fear of water, fish and learning to dive Martin was really patient and took his time to explain everything to me and completely put me at ease.    From the day that I rang Divecrew and spoke to Sue, to yesterday where I officially passed my PADI Open Water and SSI Dry Suit courses has been phenomenal! I have visited the centre a few times now and they have an amazing team working there, im always welcomed, always asked if I would like a cuppa tea or coffee. Always listened too and assisted in the best way possible, its a breath of fresh air to actually get decent people advising on the best gear to use that suits your needs and isn't the latest and greatest most expensive thing! Anything they might not have in stock will soon be ordered for you straight away, and even then you don't have to purchase it there and then. PADI Open Water training - This was run by Sean. WOW what a great instructor and always happy to provide tips, tricks and any advice inbetween to make you a better diver! I was super pleased and had a great laugh during training. Weekend Qualifying Dives - For the 2 days (Saturday & Sunday) qualifying we dived at Wraysbury and Vobster. First of all the the dive sites were great so glad Vobster was last because the water visibility was 10M+ and I saw so much more there. Secondly the team, this was a hard hitting power duo cute-y by the name of James & Rowan! These guys were amazing! Super funny, always cracking jokes, learnt loads from these guys and their years of experience, from staying warmer in dry suits, preventing leakages, NEW hand signals, recommending hot chocolates, and most of all how to dive dive dive! Because of these two alone im already wanting to book other courses and learn more from them! I really enjoyed absorbing these guys' knowledge and everything they had to offer! THANK YOU SO MUCH DIVECREW!! I will be back to do more and look forward to diving with your crew in the future, I feel part of the Divecrew family now that you guys have spent years growing :) thank you!

   [Updated] My son is now 12 y/o, hence just booked him for PADI Advanced. And yet again - Divecrew is the safe pair of hands while learning crucial skills for deep waters. Absolutely great experience for my 10 years old and myself doing the Open Water Diver course in Bracknell. Highly recommend. All questions answered in such a way, that we can actually understand and also remember! - Many Thanks to the whole team of Divecrew!
