   Not the easiest place to find due to the narrow and dark entrance with difficulty to see any signs. Staff friendly, Easy check in, all clean and tidy. Room was clean and tidy with basic tea and coffee facilities. Shower was clean and room heating was on although the weather was not cold out. A major disappointment was Harvester next door and the public house adjacent to the Travelodge were just closed at 21.30 on a Thursday evening... There were many other guests arriving also looking disappointed by the lack of services available at this early hour.

   10 minutes from the Airport , right next to Harvester and just far enough away from Southampton to ensure you don't get a disease , so what's not to be entirely ambivalent about. My room came with a free robot hoover, which is nice, although it has subsequently become fully self aware and eloped with my smart kettle, annoying but they do make a lovely couple.

   I didn’t get hot water before 8am , on 3 mornings that we stayed.. Ran water for long time no luck , went for a walk , came back and the hot water was working. Needs a fridge in the room.. just to avoid the image of everyone putting there cold items in the window sill to try and keep cool.. Great walks from behind the lodge… if you fancy getting a bit muddy. Super value for money if you book early and get £35 a night

   Stayed 2 nights. Free car park with plenty of spaces. Quiet location. Spotlessly clean room, especially the bathroom. Taps and some fittings showing age but all very clean and function well. Very helpful and friendly staff.

   I stay in travellodges a lot this one was old and tired someone else booked this . The bathroom was a disgrace paint splashes all over the floor and toilet. It's in need of refurbishment wouldn't stay at this one again

   Good sized room, clean, but a little spartan - no coffee table, comfy chairs or drinking glasses. Handy to have the Harvester pub/restaurant next door.

   Stayed here for a night before going on a cruise from Southampton, the reception staff member was friendly during the small encounter we had while checking in, the rooms were good enough for the night, clean room and bathroom and clean comfy bed, there was a fan in the room which was great with the hot weather. Everything in the room was fine and we had no problems. There's a nice harvester next door to the travelodge if you don't want to travel far for food, plenty of parking available on site when we arrived but it did fill up later on in the night. All in all a decent place for a night's stay.
