Can’t say enough good things about this pharmacy. The staff are experts, and they think things through and are actively helpful. They’re kind and patient. They recognise me when I go in and they make me feel well supported. AND they have a vending machine for 24x7 pickup.
After nearly a year with Day Lewis Sonning Common, I echo the below words that I said at the time I started to be a patient of theirs …also with more time with the very regular assistance from their simply fabulously professional and warm pharmacist, the unforgettably lovely Joan, young male trainee pharmacist to name just a few .. my continuing heartfelt thanks and appreciation “ I’ve lived in Henley for 30 years and since my stroke in mid 2020 I’ve needed a lot of medication. I have now cancelled Boots and have transferred to a superb chemist in Sonning Common today - Days. I shall be forever grateful to my friend who recommended them. Ash the pharmacist is brilliant and like her well staffed practise a truly lovely and caring professional just like all of her colleagues. I am quite bowled over with this place.. a very well stocked pharmacy and an excellent chemist shop too which knocks the socks off the likes of Boots in Henley who I am so pleased to kick out of my life as a chemist who takes 2 weeks to part fill a prescription and tells lies over when they receive prescriptions from my GP. I walked into days today .. got a flu jab and sorted out items on my prescription that Boots could not be bothered to try to fill” warmest best wishes Geoff W

The Day Lewis team saved my life, so five stars isn't enough really. I visited to get some meds for my Dad and while waiting, saw the poster offering free blood pressure test - so I did it and, after followups, ended up with a late-stage cancer diagnosis which saved my life. All fine now. Thank you Day Lewis. And people - do use your pharmacist to help you. x x
I have nothing but positive feedback regarding our wonderful ‘Day Lewis Pharmacy’ in Sonning Common. All the staff, especially Ash, Tracey and Joan, always provide incredible customer service and always with a kind word and a smile. There have been periods in recent months when there has been nationwide short supply of some medication that my daughter takes and Ash went out of her way to make sure my daughter had her medication when she needed it. Believe me, that was no mean feat! Very much appreciated! Thanks to you all for going above and beyond in your roles. Excellent service by the team at DL Sonning Common, always helpful, good advice if you can't see a doctor ( or can't wait for an appointment) better than other pharmacies in the area that I've visited. This is my default stop for meds, and other necessities. Keep up the good work!
It's a Saturday and there is a notice saying the pharmacy can't open because the pharmacist hasn't arrived. Calls go to answer phone , so I've been there 3 times today . It's now 1 pm and I've had to call round to find someone who has my meds and can spare enough to cover me until Monday morning! I've always had wonderful service BUT surely Lloyds have a duty of care and use locum . pharmacists .
The best pharmacy I've been in so far. Long que. But when asked for a personal advice pharmasist and team made so private and conformable, that I would never ask for a better service that I've received. Thank you.
Great customer service, very friendly staff. Perfect location, ideal for when my GP surgery, that’s just up the road, can’t fill my prescription straight away. Regarding other comments on waiting times; Yes, admittedly sometimes the wait to be serviced is lengthy but considering how many people they serve & what’s involved in filling out each prescription it’s completely understandable. Just think of waiting as a great excuse to browse the pharmacy shop & maybe talk yourself into buying things that you don’t really need!!
