Really nice clean rooms. Good access to the pub and great carvery. Easy access to the town centre. All heating and amenities work. Very clean and tidy and very helpful and friendly staff

Good price but the room wasn't the cleanest there was hair in the bath so you know it couldn't have been cleaned. The breakfast was not nice, it was tasteless with absolutely no flavour. I had the full English but only enjoyed the mushrooms and tomato. Everything else lacked any flavour. When I checked in I had to ask several questions like what room number am I in, what time is breakfast, where is breakfast going to be, where do I park etc. I feel that it was information that should be given without asking when you're checking. She was a kind and friendly girl but she lacked either training or the initiative to give information that should be already provided. Some of the staff I came across seemed okay but I wasn't amazed by the service when I was served breakfast. I'd stay again as it was really cheap but I'd avoid the breakfast and go McDonald's next door.

We stayed here as my kids were competing at Derby arena. The hotel was ideally located, quiet, clean and provided everything that we required for our 2 night stay. My only small issue was that we needed to be out before 0800 and their breakfast only started at 0800 on a weekend, luckily McDonalds was on the doorstep so we could get fed. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Staff were lovely and friendly, my only reason for a slightly lower score is that it is fairly out of the way if you don’t bring a vehicle. However the place itself was lovely. Toilets were pristine and smelt lovely. The food was nice and the room were clean.

Came for a carvery with family, greeted at the main door and seated straight away even though we hadn’t booked. Carvery smelt great and looked and tasted even better. Roast pork and crackling was a winner for the whole family. Although really busy the staff took time to be really friendly and make sure we had everything we need. Cake cabinet was so inviting that we took some home with us. We will be back soon

I have taken my dog to see Santa paws today. It was absolutely brilliant and was worth the £5. You could tell that the event was arranged by a person that love's dogs and I will definitely take her back again next year
