   Stayed here while working in the area and had a great experience. I stayed in one of the self-contained flats. It has everything you need including a very well equipped kitchen, for a longer stay. The host and housekeeping were great — friendly and easy to talk to. All in all, a solid place to stay if you’re working near the airport. I’d come back again. Thanks

   I was looking for somewhere to stay to visit the Melbourne arts festival 20th-21sr sept. I looked on Google Maps and found Castletown house. There is no online booking system just a contact number for the owner, Theo. He is very welcoming and is quite a character. Theo let me know that our key would be in the outdoor key safe, and came to greet us later on in the day. The room was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfy, and full of charm. Great value for money considering the property is so charming. The festival is a five minute drive. There is a bus stop outside, and you can get too short buses there it takes about 20 minutes. If you fancy a long walk, you can also walk to Melbourne from Castle Donington. The festival itself was amazing – great food, music, and artists. Would definitely stay again!

   Stayed at Castletown Guesthouse for one night before an early flight. I felt very welcomed, and the owner Theo even left me some croissants and breakfast bits in the fridge. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet. The sky link to the airport is just outside, which made things super easy. Cute little touches made it feel homier than a hotel. Would definitely stay again!
