   Found this place as wanted somewhere to stop and eat before going campsite. As soon as walked in the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good selection of drinks. The menu has plenty of choice and there is a specials board with plenty of choice also. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. And a little beer garden. The food is really good and big portions. I had curry and chips which was really nice and my partner had Rotisserie chicken which he also said was really nice. As I said the portions are big. Reasonably priced. Would go again and recommend.

   I have never laughed so hard and received such good service in one venue. Harley is an absolute legend behind the bar, fun, great knowledge, great recommendations, gave us a fair warning on food portion sizes and we went for it. This is most generously portioned food I have ever seen. Harley filled the wine up to the absolute brim, the chef, for pure bants brought out a chalkboard with the dessert selection to accompany our monstrous food order. Absolute 10/10 I wish this were my local

   We received a warm welcome from really friendly and helpful staff, the choice on the menu was exceptional. Really large portions!! Homecooked food, prepared and served to perfection. The chef, Andy, came to check if we were happy with everything. Highly recommend this friendly pub!

   We had Sunday lunch here today. Our 3 children have additonal needs and the staff were absolutely fantastic catering for their needs. Our youngest is a restrictive eater but the staff separated every item of food to ensure she could happily eat everything. Little touches like this make it much easier for us as a family to eat out. The food was also fantastic and I would recommend that everyone comes here for a meal. Thanks to all the staff for their help.

   Really nice family / dog friendly pub went here for lunch all the food is homemade had the burger which was homemade which came with bacon cheese salad onion rings and rustic chips kids had scampi bites with chips and beans staff were nice , pub nicely decorated throughout which was clean and modern with good music on , would recommend & go back

   We called in for drink and food after it was highly recommended by a local man. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My husband enjoyed his sausage and mash, I personally wouldn't recommend the fish and chips.

   Love this place; a regular haunt whilst waiting for a Take Away. However, £12.15 for 1 1/2 pints of Wainwright’s (£8.10/pint & £4.05/half); then, £6.35 for a half-pint of Special Christmas beer … ouch!
