I would like to express our sincere thanks for the wonderful accommodation you provided for the pupils and staff of Cranleigh Preparatory School. Your warm hospitality, attention to detail, and thoughtful organisation created a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone. We truly appreciated all the hard work and care that went into making our stay run so smoothly. The pupils and staff especially loved the amazing full English breakfast on Sunday morning — it was a real highlight and set everyone up perfectly for the day.

Stayed overnight on a visit to Stonehenge in September. Hostel check in opens at 5pm and if you are staying at the hostel you can walk through to the Rare Breeds Farm next door and spend some time in the coffee shop or having a walk around the farm. There is ample parking through the gate into the hostel and we were able to park close to the front door. The staff at the hostel are friendly, welcoming and efficient with check in being completed quickly. We were shown to our room, which was of a standard consistent with a hostel. We had an ensuite shower room which was great but worth noting that no towels were provided (not sure if this is normal for a hostel) so will need to remember to bring some. There was a spacious and well equipped kitchen which was available to use, a large communal area with plenty of seating and a garden area with outside seating which was lovely in the evening. Hostel is very close to Woodhenge, Stonehenge and the Durrington walls site and makes it ideally placed for exploring! Would recommend the hostel for the location, the great staff team and the Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm next door.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel! Plus sides: 1) very beautiful, has animals, serves breakfast, the garden is breathtaking, has kitchen, beds and sheets are clean, wasn’t charged for the towel, staff were really helpful and kind specially “Mel”, it had good vibes and calmness, they had trampoline.. 2) down sides: shower was not very clean, the location is far from any supermarket or any town, only way to travel is by Taxi or own car, buses on Sundays don’t work at all, breakfast menu is quite simple with only 4 options.

This hostel is quite expensive for the services provided. The members kitchen is not big enough to meet the needs of large groups. Passable for a small group or a family but that's about it. Some appliances not working properly and in one case not at all. The shower in our dormitory was scalding and uncomfortably hot and members of my group therefore refused to use it. There is such a thing as a duty of care. Bunk bed a bit rickety and the facilities in the room were not adequate for a group of ten people. I have stayed in far better hostels for the money. I don't recommend this hostel and it is certainly not a four star hotel as described in the online advertising.

Well over 40 of my Family arrived here. Rooms very clean. Everything provided to make stay comfortable. Coffee shop next door. Kitchen fully equipped as Family all preparing and cooking dinner. Military operation. Would recommend to other large groups or Families. Ample parking.

I travel a lot in the UK by bike and its rare you get the sort of genuine, kind hospitality Joshua showed last night when I rode past by chance on a long cold journey! Really much appreciated he does an excellent job.

Fantastic hostel! The staff made my family and I feel so at home. Would highly recommend. Also super close to Stonehenge… Also also, next door to a farm that you can visit.

I was received with a welcoming warmth and enjoyed every part of my stay. I loved seeing the pride of the staff, as they explained about the hostel, the kitchen, farm, and vineyard. I was able to enjoy these facilities and understand their pride! The hostel stay was comfortable and I booked a bed in an 8-bed female-only bedroom, which had a little ensuite bathroom. The kitchen was large and well-equipped. Additionally, there was a large lounge area, which had sofas and a tv. I enjoyed exploring the property and finding peace while walking through the farm and vineyard. The farm has many endangered species, and it was interesting to learn about the animals at the farm. I appreciate the individual effort that is given to any customer, as the kitchen provides breakfast every morning, but would be happy to accommodate any requests and even early breakfast options! I loved seeing how they created a more sustainable kitchen by using many of the products that they produced on the farm or in the vegetable patch.

Checked in on a Saturday. Nice and quiet because there weren't a lot of people here. Farm animals and a playground to keep us entertained. Could use some board games though. The place was clean and satisfactory. Would highly recommend to those who want a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, 9.5/10.

Nice surroundings. Quiet, peaceful Good services, friendly people. Place enough in the room. The bathroom has no place to put your things. A shelf would have been easy. You can use the kitchen. The building needs to be refurbished. It's not so clean, like the fridge. It smells dirty, I cleaned the refrigerator myself first. Old tawdry couches and chairs. The cooking pans are old and dirty and not suitable for cooking, non-stick coating is damaged, that isn't healthy. If it was cleaner and they refurbished and replaced things: 5 stars
