   We booked a luxury double for two nights with lots of family members at the end of November to attend my brother in laws wedding. Staff were very welcoming. Our room was very basic. The room had no central heating and was absolutely freezing, at times we were shivering in bed. There was no blankets or heater. We only had one pillow each. The bedroom and bathroom windows were streaming with condensation The ensuite was below basic very old fashioned and extremely dated. The toilet roll holder was hanging from a thread. The bath was very slippery. Water freezing at times. We were unable to have a shower on the last day due to this. This stay was extremely disappointing. What was meant to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be a complete fast. I wouldn't recommend this hotel

   We recently stayed at The Crown Hotel and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel offers reasonable prices, spacious and clean rooms, and a truly beautiful location — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, the property could use a bit of TLC in certain areas to freshen things up. During my stay, the radiators weren’t working, which made the room chilly, especially in the evening. However the kind staff managed to provide us electric portable radiators which was life-saving! Despite these minor issues, it’s a good value for money stay with great potential, and I’d happily consider coming back after a few improvements are made.

   The crown is under new management. They are working really hard to bring it back to its former glory. All the staff are lovely and the hotel has become a very nice place to stay. It's the perfect location for visiting the town with its many independent cafes and shops.

   A charming stay with a touch of ABBA magic! I had such a lovely time at The Crown Suites. The rooms were beautifully kept, cozy, and made for a really comfortable stay. What made it extra special was the ABBA tribute night; so much fun, great energy, and a real highlight of my trip. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more personal. A truly delightful stay, I’ll definitely be back.

   A charming old building with friendly staff. Rooms feel a little dated but do have the right facilitates. Staff were super friendly and attentive, a real credit to the hotel. Location is right in the middle of Stone, very easy for a night out. Breakfast is hot and tasty, not overly fancy but nice

   Booked in for a wowcher deal festive afternoon tea and really enjoyed it. Presented lovely and all staff were very attentive and friendly. Glad to see this hotel under new management and getting back to the lovely place it once was.

   Repare to receive a parking fine if you dare to stay at this hotel. I had a member of staff come out to point out exactly where I could park because it wasn't clear. Now been sent £100 parking fine and they won't answer the phone to resolve it. Also the rooms are below average and the breakfast service in the morning was rubbish.

   This was an absolutely awful stay. The bed had springs poking through. The sink had slime around the taps. The shower was broken. Our included breakfast consisted of Coco pops and cheap toast. When we have tried to discuss this with the hotel they are refusing to respond in any way at all!! Do not stay here!!

   We stayed in a top floor room within thr main hotel, superb room. Would've been nice to actually have dinner in the hotel itself. We couldn't see any menus for dinner. A great stay over all though. A peaceful sleep.
