“The most perfect wedding venue. From the outset of booking this venue Jose was there guiding us through everything we needed to know - not just about the venue, but advice on photographers and the actual ceremony expectations. The venue and grounds are simply stunning, you’d have never known we were so close to Stone centre! We were very lucky to get married outside and it was breathtaking, our wedding breakfast took place upstairs and it had its rustic charm with the beams and wheel, again, with lots of our guest commenting how lovely it was to see the character of the building. The food was unreal, one of the biggest compliments post wedding we got was about how amazing the food was especially the paella! Jose, his sister and all his family & workers that help run The Mill truly make it the wonderful, stress free and magical place to get married. I cannot recommend this place enough!”

“Had a lovely weekend stay here with my partner. We had our own private patio and garden which was really romantic. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were well maintained. I'd definitely go back. Highly recommended.”

“Another town another premier inn , this time the room ( prem + ) was massive well furnished comfortable and super clean , Leanne greeted to me and was a great example of how staff are the hotel and greeted me with a warm smile and explained everything i needed to know even went and got me some Hot Chocolate which you don’t actually get in the rooms ! Again loaned me an Apple Watch charger as I’d forgotten mine as I need it as I have an app to check blood sugar ! Perfect hotel and if Leanne is anything to go by the staff will all be wonderful too”

“The crown is under new management. They are working really hard to bring it back to its former glory. All the staff are lovely and the hotel has become a very nice place to stay. It's the perfect location for visiting the town with its many independent cafes and shops.”

“Having stopped in the finest hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts before I can only describe this one as 5+ stars. From booking, to arriving, the welcome, the accommodation, and the food was all first class. The cost was very reasonable, I would have expected to pay much more given how good it was. “Steph,Warren Bruno our staffy dog. Came on Thursday evening leaving on Tuesday 23rd January 2024. Amazing seenrey and have horses and chickens can look at also Keith and Jennifer whom own the little barn welcomed us and absolutely clean inside got a kitchen ,livingroom , bedroom with on suit and another bathroom with shower off through door from livingroom also have a twin bedroom with bathroom up stairs. Very warm also allows dogs. So over all lovely clean fresh. . There also have 2 lovely dogs and a white Cat. Overall would stay here again x always a 5 stars in our Eyes.”

The rooms were big and comfy and the breakfast was nice although continental was enough to set us up for the day. The location is great and although there was road works in the area we were sent directions and we arrived late our first night but Noel and Chrissie were so helpful on arrival. Would love to stay again and can’t recommend it enough.”

“We've used Kandahar for our 2 cats anytime we've been on holiday or visiting family for the past 3 years. We have always been happy with how the cats have been looked after, which gives us peace of mind when we are away. The staff are all friendly and fuss over our cats. Would recommend.”

The one's I have personally dealt with, Josh, Trish and Carole are a credit to your hotel, but it's to be noted that everyone else I've spoken to have been great, too! 10/10, will return next time we need to stay away for work!”
