Old fashioned, no frills b&b with great cooked (meat) breakfast. Good value. Don't expect wifi or mod cons. Do expect a friendly host & service with a smile. Parking to rear is accessed via driveway with a tight turn so not great for large vehicles.

We had an amazing stay at the Tythe Barn House! We stayed in The Granary with 2 adults and 3 kids! Had a little front room kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms! Nice cosy little cottage! The host was lovely and she made us all very welcome! Cooked us a great breakfast in the morning! PS the local dominos delivers here which I is handy

We stayed in the Granary which is self catering but we also added breakfast which was lovely. Judy was very nice and attentive. Only 5 mins from Alton towers definitely recommend

Stayed two nights with the lovely Judy at Tythe Barn. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you might have wished for. Full English breakfasts were a delight and completely filling!! Will be back without doubt. The perfect location to stop if visiting Alton Towers . . . and did I mention a pub ten yards across the road also with fab food!!

What can I say about this other than excellent. The lady who runs this is a fantastic hostess. The accommodation is clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent although my other half would of liked fried bread but hey ho he can't have everything. The resident boxer was gorgeous we could of taken her own. Close to Alton towers. We actually walked there from the b and b. If you take the public footpath you pass the chained oak in the woods

We had a lovely stay here during the first week of September 2013. The accommodation was excellent - clean and contemporary, and a nice sitting room downstairs. Not often you get all that in a b&b! Great breakfasts provided by Judy, our hostess, who was friendly and very helpful with local information. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish it had been longer, and hopefully will return in the Spring of next year. Thanks Judy, we really appreciated how special you make your guests feel. Hope Bella is well again.
