   I cannot praise Blue i enough for the brilliant service and amazing care I have received over the last year. They were always eager to offer quick solutions to general wear-and-tear of the property, and have a great network of contractors that are able to fix the tiniest of issues with short notice (I never waited more than a week for someone to pop round!). From getting our keys all the way to handing them back in, every member of staff both I and my family have spoken to has been nothing but accommodating, caring, and incredibly understanding of the situation I found myself in - and they have always responded incredibly fast. They have been absolute stars in the past two months, after personal reasons meant I was no longer able to keep up my end of the tenancy renewal and therefore pulled out. Diane and her Husband (So sorry, I don't know his name!), who run Blue i have seemingly stopped at nothing to get viewings booked in and secure new tenants to take over. They obviously care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both their outstanding customer service and the maintenance of the beautiful properties they manage - By far the best letting agents I have dealt with during my time in Derby, and I wish them all nothing but the absolute best in the future!    I see there's a lot of comments here about Blue I cherry picking people's deposits and I can 100% relate. I was going to give these guys a good review but unfortunately I can't because they've taken over £300 off our deposit despite the fact myself and my housemate took days off work to clean the house to make sure it was all good for the next tenants. They clearly don't mind how expensive the cleaners are because it's your money being spent. As someone whose worked in the cleaning industry (and has close connections that own cleaning companies) I can confidently say they're being ripped off which means it's YOUR money that's being thrown down the drain. I've paid less for yearly car insurance. Please see my photos attached to understand the state at which we left the property...

   Diane has been wonderful! I was with Bluei for two years and Diane was my first point of contact for the majority of that period. She is a delight to work with, fair, understanding, and efficient. Any time I raised concerns she was understanding and prompt to deal with it. The moving out process was so easy and straight forward and the check out appointment was easy to set up, meaning I recieved my deposit back very quickly. I can't praise Diane enough for help and professionalism throughout my tenancy.

   Really great group over at Blue i, William goes above and beyond for you if you need anything. Our rented house was transferred over to them 2 months ago and they’ve been 100x more helpful. Original agency would leave us waiting weeks for emergency repairs but Blue i gets it done fast. Would recommend to anyone.

Management is excellent and everything you could reasonably expect is there - they go above and beyond to help. Easily the best student letting agent in Derby.

   Worst agency I have ever come across. I would definitely not recommend them, not even as a last option when it comes to student accommodations. They are the most patronising group of people you’ll ever come across. It’s always one problem after another. In my two years as a student in Derby I’ve never had to call and make so many reports. If it’s not a draft in the property, it’s somethibg falling apart and when you call the staff lack empathy and even try to make your complaints seem trivial, like it’s normal. At the moment,I’m having problems with the heating at my property. They have capped the heating at 24 degrees and we only get 10 hours of heating which is absolutely disgraceful. If I had known they would do this I would never have rented a property with them. The property is not properly insulated and we are in the middle of Winter. They lack communication skills, there are times where it’s the maintenance workers who call to tell me what’s happening and not the agency themselves. They share your contacts with others without even asking for your permission. They are basicallly the most manipulating, condescending and apathetic group of people you’ll ever meet. I will definitely not recommend them to any students. Trust me, I wish I had listened to the reviews on here before renting a property from them.

   A excellent company, and one i am happy to still be using going into my final year of university. A few of the reviews are very negative, yet based on the choice of wording, it seems more a reflection on their lack of communication as a tenant. My experience has been fantastic. As a company, they are very attentive, yet not obtrusive. All issues are solved quickly and making contact is easy; you can even drop by their office, someone will always be happy to listen. Unlike a few other agencies we viewed properties with, Blue I's listened to what we wanted, and showed us houses around our price range. All the staff are professional, and experienced. Originally I tried finding house with Humphreys. They supplied me with a very young, inexperienced estate agent who obviously had no idea of the proprieties, prices or features - It wast a great experience. As for the proprieties let under Blue I proprieties, its apparent how they uphold a philosophy; if you give a tenant a great home to live in they'll treat it with respect. This reflects in the high standard all their proprieties adhere to. For students, Blue I's are perfect. As a customer, you are treated as an adult, yet they understand you are students. If you need any form of explanation on letting agreement, it is not an issue. They can be very flexible too, willing to talk to the landlord on your behalf. It should be noted of how accommodating this agency is - renting with other students, monthly rent has been an issue on the odd occasion, and Blue I's kept a line of communication open trying to resolve the issue, rather than instantly hitting us with a fine as the agreement could allow for. This willingness to spend time (and in essence money) resolving issues only highlights the respect they show their customers. At the end of the day, Blue I Properties are a business, so obviously will be focused on turning a profit; but its more obvious how important keeping their customer base happy is. An unhappy customer is far more likely to write a review over that of a happy, satisfied customer. I'm glad to say i am a very happy customer!
