Amazing place for adventurers. From the local knowledge of our fantastic host to the plethora of maps, activity ideas and assembled brochures I can guarantee you will find what you're looking for in this picturesque Peak District. The location is stellar for Thor's Cave and many more. The abundance of nearby landscapes and walks makes this the must-stay place for me. Have told all family and friends and can't wait to return to discover our next hidden gem. 10/10 in all aspects: Bed, Breakfast, Welcoming (and drying of wet clothes)

Stayed here for a long weekend whilst doing some hiking around the area and exploring the Peak District. The accommodation was a great base in a great location and Nicola made it feel like home. She had good advice for the area and helped with everything we needed.

What a delightful bnb in a great rural setting. We had fresh scones one afternoon as part of the stay and the owner is very attentive and helpful on local knowledge: walks, pubs etc. Maps for local walks available at the bnb. They have 3 lovely sheep dogs (who mostly keep to the owner's house not the bnb - but you may encounter them in the front garden).

This is a gem of a b & b and perfectly located for exploring a beautiful area of outstanding walks. Also good for Chatsworth and their annual flower show. Nicky is a great host and cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. Lovely waking up to the birds. Will definitely go back

A lovely welcoming b&b, tucked away in a derbyshire village with plenty of walking from the door step. A pub just next door too. Nicki is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. We left a bottle of bubbly on our window sill, when we returned there were 2 champagne flutes next to it! Thank you for a really enjoyable stay, I had a most relaxing birthday - a treat.

Always have such great stays at the Old Vicarage B&B and the Little Vicarage self catering cottage. The rooms in the B&B are exceptional and we are always well looked after by Nicky who supplies home made break and jam in the morning to compliment the fabulous cooked breakfasts. The self catering cottage is of excellent standard and Nicky provides flowers and home made break for your arrival. See you soon folks. :) Jenny, A Time to Kiln

Couldn't fault this B & B at all, the setting is out of this world set in beautiful gardens, so quiet and relaxing, there is ample walking straight from the front door, the breakfasts are fantastic with endless coffee and tea along with home made bread for toast. Nicky the host goes about her business with a lovely welcoming manner and Massie the dog is always available for you to throw a ball in the garden. 10 out of 10 all round
