I sold my late mum's house with AKS and the whole team were brilliant from start to finish. I was kept up to date and informed all the way through the process, communication was excellent. Because everyone was so friendly I found it easy to ask questions about anything I wasn't sure about. What I wasn't prepared for was the fact that it felt like they really cared about selling the house for me there was never a time when I felt like this was just 'another sale' for them. I can absolutely recommend AKS.
From beginning to end all the team at AKS were amazing. They kept us up to date with everything that was happening with both our sale and our purchase. The team are so friendly and explained everything to us so we fully understood what was happening. The final few moments of completion day (Friday, 5.00pm) were the most stressful moments during the whole experience, but Lyndsay was so calm dealing with various solicitors, and again, kept us fully informed of everything going on. We would definitely recommend using AKS
We had an excellent experience with AKS from start to finish - from the valuation with Andrew, to the photos and video with Sam and Mikaela, to the sales progression with Lyndsay, and of course the rest of the team as well who were all unfailingly helpful. Particularly good was the communication. Much of this was done via a Whatsapp group which was a quick and easy way to communicate, but I also found the AKS team members were very happy to chat on the phone and answer our questions. They were proactive and timely in their responses. We felt they genuinely cared about helping us move. They made the process much smoother than it might otherwise have been. We would recommend AKS and would not hesitate about using them again in future.
We have recently sold two houses with AKS and I can't recommend them enough. From the first meeting with Andrew to every contact with all the team you know you have made the right choice and you are in safe hands. The team are professional, efficient and informative. We imagined things were going to be very stressful due to selling two houses at the same time. However, the team took all the stress out of it. What I would also add is Andrew at AKS recommended we list one of the houses at a much higher price than two other estate agents we had consulted, had already advised. We achieved a sale price of £60,000 above what the other estate agents had recommended. There were lots of the AKS team involved in our sales but big shout out to Andrew, Sam, Mikaela, Laura, Jodie and Lyndsay! What a team!! I would 100% recommend the AKS team!!
We purchased a house listed by AKS and the service they have provided has been outstanding! Their approach is so much more professional, friendly and pro-active than other estate agents I've experienced. Mikaela and Ben have been incredible. Ben showed us around the property and made the viewing a cut far above the rest. We had many viewings with some other Derby based estate agents which were shockingly bad in comparison. Mikaela kept us well informed throughout, was incredibly helpful and always called back or replied to emails quickly. Unfortunately the property I was selling wasn't listed by AKS and I wish it had been. If I were to sell again I wouldn't even approach anyone else! AKS really seem to do things differently to other estate agents which makes everything easy and a pleasure! Thank you to everyone at AKS!
Many aspects of moving house can be stressful, but AKS were a joy to work with and from start to finish. Their service was impeccable. When choosing an estate agent, we prioritised finding the most professional and trustworthy firm in order to move efficiently. Andy and his team were knowledgeable, friendly, reliable and consistently on their game. Initially, we got quotes from 6 local agents, which varied staggeringly from £250-320k. AKS could clearly explain their rationale and our conversations with them gave us confidence they were credible, rather than valuing aggressively to win the business. We were very happy with the materials created and the way the property was marketed and we achieved a sale within 4 days, with multiple offers. For anyone in doubt, we literally couldn't describe any shortcomings or areas for improvement for AKS and would recommend them to anyone.
Brilliant service! Myself and my partner were first time buyers so the whole process was incredibly daunting and AKS managed to reassure us on every step. Ben was incredibly helpful responding quickly to every question prior to our offer. Victoria was fantastic at keeping us updated and acting as liaison between us and the solicitors.
