   The lodge is on a Lovely well maintained site. The lodge was located with a view of the marina and within easy walking distance of shops and eateries. Good walks nearby & dog friendly. Rob, the owner was knowledgeable of the location who gave us plenty of information prior to and at our arrival. The lodge itself had everything you would need for your stay. We Would definitely recommend this lodge for a quiet break & look forward to returning at sometime.

   Beech Lodge was a tranquil lodge with beautiful surroundings and it was very peaceful. The added security of being in a gated community was reassuring. The lodge had everything we needed, it was comfortable, homely, clean and roomy. The decor was well presented and maintained. The kitchen was very well equipped and Rob was a very attentive host, making our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. The marina area is very close by offering food and drink outlets for the evening, which made for a relaxed evening during our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you Rob for making our stay so lovely!

   We had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Rob met us at the entrance and led us to the lodge. The lodge was beautiful inside, very spacious and cosy. Upon arrival the lodge smelt amazing, there was ambient music playing, Buck’s Fizz, croissants and even warm cookies in the oven. The entire lodge was clean and had an inviting, homely feel, so we instantly felt relaxed. We would highly recommend the lodge and we are already thinking of going back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

   Myself, partner and two younger siblings had an absolutely wonderful experience during our recent overnight stay at Beech Lodge. From the moment we arrived, I was truly impressed with everything. The lodge itself was cozy and inviting, and the attention to detail in the decor and amenities didn't go unnoticed. Rob was incredibly warm and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The comfort of the rooms exceeded my expectations, providing a peaceful night's sleep. The picturesque surroundings added to the overall charm of the stay. I can't wait to return to Beech Lodge for another delightful getaway.

   Could not possibly be any better. Rob, the host, was helpful and friendly. Beech Lodge was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Mercia Marina grounds were beautiful and enjoyed walking along the canal every day. We will be back and look forward to visiting again.

   A truly lovely lodge, in a great location! Just got back from a long weekend away with family and two doggies, the lodge was well equipped, very clean and was warm and welcoming, such great attention to detail apparent in every room which made our stay extra special, will definitely be back soon - thank you to Rob the owner who welcomed us on arrival and showed us round the lovely accommodation, thank you for the great tips on where and what to eat nearby!

   Had an amazing time!!! The place is absolutely beautiful and clean, strong Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, great lounge area and dining room, has everything we could imagine, it was like being at home. Rob the owner is easygoing and friendly. We are a family of 5. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Peak District area.

   Excellent communication in advance. Rob met us to ‘sign us in’ and show us round the Lodge which is immaculate and very well- equipped. He left us some ‘welcome goodies’ which were a very nice touch. Highly recommended - beautiful Lodge. Gorgeous surroundings. Very private and peaceful. Lovely.

   Lovely Lodge in a great location with a fantastic host! Beach Lodge is super convenient for Derby, Burton, Nottingham and Alton-Towers but also quiet with great facilities onsite, pubs, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and it feels like being somewhere on the coast rather than in the midlands. The lodge itself is well setup with a good kitchen, large rooms and nice furniture. Rob, the owner, is super attentive and provided a really nice check-in experience. Will definitely be back.

   Fantastic stay for 2 nights at the Beech Lodge. Rob, the owner met us at the entrance gate for us to gain access and explained all about the stunning, very spacious, spotlessly clean Lodge. Rob was absolutely delightful, so helpful. We will definitely be back. Beautifully located with all amenities on hand. Highly recommended.
