We visit Newcastle-under-Lyme often as we have family there. We have usually stayed in the Travelodge but it is getting very expensive: Lymedale was two-thirds the price. We needed to alter our booking and the lady in the office was very helpful. From the outside, the place looks like an office building but that is not a major problem. Compared with a Travelodge, the decor of the room was a little plainer, but it was clean, large, the radiator was working, and they have microwave ovens, hobs, and fridges as well as kettles. We didn't use the restaurant but from the menu it seemed fine. The five stars obviously don't mean that it is a Five-Star hotel, but they reflect value for money and service.

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed, Sandra was really caring and nothing too much trouble, you don't get many like her,she goes above and beyond her duty.

Booked the family suite and was more than pleased. The bedrooms were very big and everything was spotless. We will definately use Lymedale Suites again. The staff, especially Sandra in reception are friendly and accommodating, loved the fact that we could do some laundry washing in the little utilty room they have on sight.

What a lovely place to stay! So, so pleased with our rooms - my daughter and my dad thought exactly the same. Clean, comfortable with everything we needed and slept so comfortably. Lovely staff and excellent affordable prices. The restaurant attached was brilliant - a whole range of lovely meals available again all at amazingly good prices. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a nice outside part where we could also sit. I simply could not recommend this place enough.

For the money, and if you're not bothered by traffic noise or sleep with the windows shut, this place is absolutely brilliant. Much upgraded since I stayed 4 years ago when it was only good.

Staff were very friendly, and the apartment had all the basics you might need. There were even some pans to use. The rooms were a clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was the stairs. I'm disabled, and the stairs are very small and very steep. There's also no lift. It's not a deal breaker, but I know to ask for a downstairs room next time.

Stayed there a few times while daughter was at Keele. This time for her graduation. They upgraded us to a brand new family room which was marvellous. Highly recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Reception only seems to be open when no one would actually want to use it, so had to rush to arrive before reception closed. Absolutely obsessed with the idea that you might want to have a party in their shabby rooms so insisted on checking everyone's ID, threatening reminders about not having a party everywhere. They even did a "test" fire alarm so that my daughter had to parade in her pyjamas in front of the gentlemen drinking at the bar. The whole experience was deeply uncomfortable.
