Incredible service. I broke down and managed to get my car into the car park at this hotel. Dylan was working the night shift on reception and was so helpful. He was very helpful in getting me any help needed and when I eventually needed to book a room he got this sorted for me very quickly and even accommodated really well for my dog. Then when checking out in the morning, the lady on reception was also incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially for my dog once again. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being so kind and helpful when I was in a tight spot. The best experience I could have from the loveliest staff.

whilst the hotel is really just a hotel at a very convenient location- nothing flash and more functional than anything the stand out is the staff. Super friendly staff, really helpful and helping the local employment market as well as hiring people with disabilities. I was greeted on the evening by a lovely young guy who was really helpful and knowledgeable, the staff at breakfast and on the bar area for coffees were lovely - especially the young lady who made me my cappuccino. 5* service

Location is a bit subjective. I chose this because it was right next to the motorway and I wanted to get straight back onto it the next day, so it was ideal. We arrived late, but were met with enthusiastic reception staff member, who kindly moved us to a room that was closer to reception when he spotted the crutch my wife was using. The room and bed was comfortable - certainly better than the Premier Inn rooms we've stayed in recently. Breakfast was an additional cost, but I didn't think it offered the best value given what was on offer. All in all, for a budget hotel experience it was pretty decent.

Very Disappointing Stay - Never Again !!! Our stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. The rooms did not match the photos or descriptions on Booking.com (for example, each room was supposed to have a sofa bed, but none did). When we pointed this out, the staff arrogantly replied that they “use general photos to attract people” and that the rooms are not actually like the pictures. Completely misleading and unacceptable. Upon arrival, we also discovered that the swimming pool was out of order – once again we were told in a very unfriendly way that we were simply “out of luck.” The worst experience was at the bar. One employee (a tall man with dark, greasy, and unkempt hair wearing a dark grey shirt, who refused to give his name) behaved with extreme rudeness. At 00:50 he shouted at us that we had 15 minutes to “disappear” into our rooms, refused to serve us further, and closed the bar - even though it is advertised as being open 24 hours. We came for a major event and had over 20 rooms booked. We have been loyal Holiday Inn customers for years, but we have never experienced such arrogance, unfriendliness, and unprofessional behaviour. Next year we will return to the area for the same event - but we will stay well away from this hotel. A true disgrace to the Holiday Inn brand !!!

Stayed for 2 nights with family. The room is not big enough for 2 adults and 2 children the keys needs to be reactivated everyday. The safe is not working and the shower is quite weak. Otherwise the staff were pleasant. The first night we dined at the restaurant downstairs but because they were accommodating a football team, we had to wait for 45mins for our food to be served. The manager was kind enough to give us a discount for the dinner.

We enjoyed our stay, it was busy due to half term break but we were still able to get a table for dinner and breakfast. The pool is a bonus but be warned, you need to book a slot in advance. Breakfast was good, busy, but there were plenty of staff to replenish supplies. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would return.

Do not recommend at all. The rooms were disgusting. Our first room absolutely stank of cigarette smoke despite it being a non smoking hotel. The lovely gentleman at reception did swap our room without hesitation and upgraded us however the second room wasn't much better and again smelled like stale smoke. We ordered room service which was pretty basic however they forgot our drinks and another item that we were assured would be brought up (im still waiting). The TV didn't work and then to top it all off the fire alarm went off at 7:15 in the morning while I was in the shower. I will say the breakfast was decent and when we complained at check out the manager was very apologetic about our experience. We had only booked here out of convenience due to its location and had I not been facing a 4 hour drive home after an already long day I wouldn't have stayed. I'll never stay in a Holiday Inn again. I feel sorry for the staff as they were all so helpful and I can guarantee we probably aren't the only complaint they dealt with.

We stayed in this hotel for 4nights. And I must say the staff are very pleasant and friendly in particular prasad at front desk he was very helpful. The breakfast was nice pretty much the same every morning. Our room was too small for 3 adults and 1 child. The shower was pathetic and hotel and rooms need a touch of paint. The jacuzzi was not functional when we got there. It was a nuisance to keep re activating our room key everyday but apart from all that it was overall a good hotel.

We've just held our wedding reception there and can honestly as 3 years of waiting it was well worth it. Food was amazing, room clean and comfortable. But most of all our wedding coordinator Martha was fantastic, she went above and beyond her role and mainly on her own even to the point of sourcing out a DJ and other bits, she's a massive asset to the hotel would recommend any day. Thank you for making our day so special Fay & Jay
