   Let me say firstly that the barn itself is nicely decoarated.However ... it is situated next to a very rowdy pub with clientele completely intoxicated! The language was atrocious and a total disregard for the barn occupants.I urge anyone who wishes for a peaceful break and especially with young children to avoid these barns at all cost! I actually would not let my wife go out to the nearby shop alone that is simply how bad this area can be! For the past 30 years I have traveled this country from city to rural and this has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had, it was just unbearable! Wearing earplugs on arrival just to get some rest isn't my idea of a break at all. Parking isn't easy and this is shared with the pub so if your car gets bumped your on your own with this as the signs state. As soon as we saw daylight we were out of there!!

   Excellent room (no 3) for two people, let alone for me travelling solo (stayed two nights). Well appointed; had ALL that anyone could require, including some nice little thought-through touches, eg small table and 2 chairs, plus crockery and cutlery for takeaways and the like - and washing up liquid! Plentiful supply of beverages, which on request were pretty quickly re-stocked. And a very decent, practical shower! The town, just say 20 steps away, had all that anyone would want; including very pleasant and sociable locals. In summary: comfortable, clean, tidy, more than adequate and EXCELLENT value for money. Beat Travelodges any day.

   Great motel style rooms, clean bright and lots of parking, pub in car park, but quiet, lots of places to eat, and massive co op next door, we ate at the Tilley Raven pub, which was a lovely 20 mins walk

   Brilliant place for one or two nights. Room smallish but adequate. Beautifully done out, exceptionally spotless. Can park right up to door. Bathroom great. Friendly pub close by. Exceptionally quiet and surrounding countryside stunning. Great place to stop off on the way to somewhere else.

   Clean and in the middle of Wem. Rooms are basic, but very good for the price. Easy self-check-in and all information about the room/town is given shortly beforehand by email. Would stop here again.

   It's a bit tight for 3 cyclists, but perfectly manageable. It's remotely managed so you don't meet anyone. If needed we could have contacted someone, and the information they supplied was perfect. However, everything was high standard and spotless. Perfect location and superb pub across the car park. For our purposes it was ideal.

   Clean, modern, crisp towels and bedding. Fair price and good parking right outside these converted barns. Only small issue is that the dividing walls between the rooms were done using plasterboard so you can hear noises and TV or neighbours. Not a major problem, but shame not to have had solid dividing walls with more privacy. Excellent location in centre of Wem, and 20 paces from a pleasant pub.
