The Old Dower House was such a pleasant stay for our families and friends. Hannah was the most gracious host who was very friendly and such a fantastic cook. She made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back.
Had a wonderful 2 night stay here The wonderful owners could not do enough for us Baked us a delicious lemon drizzle cake for our arrival Some fantastic walks in the area,we were recommended the walk from Marbury to Whitchurch by the owner Hanna ,which from the top of the hill looked stunning literally like being in a Ronald Lampitt painting And the breakfast was brilliant We will definitely be back
Stayed at The Old Dower House for three nights whilst we attended Grange barns for our Daughters Wedding, what can I say the location is stunning and the facilities are top notch Hannah made us feel so welcome, the lemon drizzle cake was to die for, we will be back Pete & Adele
Fabulous weekend stay at The Old Dower House for our Son’s wedding which took place at The Grange Barn. Stayed as a group of 8 and it was just a perfect weekend. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the Hostess Hannah makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is lovely and plenty to choose from. We arrived on the Friday and enjoyed a fabulous meal in The Swan pub across the road. Would highly recommend and hope to return again in the future. Thank you Hannah everyone enjoyed their stay.
Lovely experience, the hostess is extremely kind and welcoming. The room is very cosy and the bed was super comfortable! Both the room and the bathroom were super clean and well taken care of. The hostess also provides a binder with all the information you could ever need, along with recommended walks, restaurants, and take out!
Great to come back again to stay in the Garden Retreat and enjoy the location, the service and the accommodation.
We stayed at The Old Dower House for our wedding weekend. After postponing 3 times due to COVID we had been in touch with Hannah for 2 and a half years before our stay. Hannah was so understanding throughout the changes and when it came to our stay she made sure everything was perfect. We arrived to freshly baked cake and biscuits and breakfast both days was delicious! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. It was such a lovely place to get ready on my wedding morning with views of the church and the mere- I had no excuse to be late! It is also so nice to be in walking distance to such a good pub! Highly recommend!
What a perfect place to chill and relax. From the moment we arrived Hannah was the perfect host. The room was lovely with views over the Mere. There was also a home made Lemon drizzle cake to greet us. Breakfast was amazing! There was so much to choose from and all delicious, by far the best we have had in any B&B It's the little touches that make all the difference. The Old Dower House truely is a wonderful place to stay.
