   BRILLIANT SHOP WITH BRILLIANT STAFF. I have used this shop for many years now for all my shooting needs . Buying all my guns, accessories and ammunition. Staff have always been very helpful with any held or information that I have needed and always gone the extra mile. Not to mention always chronographing my rifle for me when I change ammunition. Thankyou everyone at TGS. Many thanks toby.

   Unfortunately had a pretty terrible experience here while being new to the airgun world. Dropped off my first rifle here, an old BSA in November for a service and a new scope. Was told it would be 6 weeks. I called after 7 weeks to be told (quite aggressively) that "It was definitely 8 weeks!". Sure, whatever. I call back two weeks later after not hearing anything (this is the 9 week mark), and was told it'll take another 2 weeks. This repeated for THREE MONTHS. I didn't get a single call, every time I had to call back where I would be told "It'll be another two weeks." Eventually I got the gun back... In pretty poor condition. Shoots worse after the service, the scope wasn't put on straight, and the stock was not even tightened. WORSE STILL, the scope I asked to put on was a Hawke 4-16x50, when I got home I noticed this was actually a 4x32 scope which has a rounded hex screw on the mount and scuff marks on the metal. I have a photo from inside the shop with the original scope they mounted on it to prove it. Decided to cut my losses and go with a different shop to fix these issues.

   Absolutely cracking place with a top team. Michaela was incredibly knowledgeably and guided me and my wife through shotgun selection. She kindly gave us the time of day which is refreshing in this day and age. Michael too was more than helpful, especially with understanding more about rifles and getting me sorted as a TGS member! Safe to say we’ll be back again hopefully soon.

   Me and my brother (Jacob) went in to ask questions about licensing and the price of starting shooting . We were met by Kerry behind the till who was extremely informative and couldn’t of given us a better service . We immediately felt comfortable in the shop even when everything was new to us . She took the time to answer all our questions and was very informative with how we can take our next steps . When we are both licensed we will definitely be making our first purchase through her ☺️.

   Absolutely amazing shop and staff, couldn’t have been more helpful. After an initial phone call that was handled fantastically and provided me with answers to all my questions I decided to make the 2 hour journey to the shop. On arrival I was welcomed and shown the gun I had come to see. Initially I had decided I really wanted 28” barrels and this one had 30” (I knew this prior to travelling) but that is the same as the gun I had sold long ago that I desperately wanted to replace as I got on so well with it. There was no pressure at all to buy and I was given time to think about it - most of which I used to chat to the staff while I made a decision. Ultimately I decided to purchase the gun and I couldn’t be happier. If I could give more stars I would as all the staff were friendly and helpful which made for a very nice buying experience, I only have one complaint and that is I wish you guys were closer! I will certainly come back, hopefully the traffic is better next time.

   Mixed experiences with this shop, had a couple of visits in the last few months where it seemed pretty clear they didn't wanna help. Having said that my last visit was more than helpful. Hoping the standards keep getting higher!

   Didn’t even get a chance to look around inside the store, I was told right away that I can’t come in without a mask, I am exempt and I don’t have any problems going in to any other shops. That is not how you approach the customers in my opinion. I understand that there’s a new mask restrictions, but when do people finally realise that they simply DON’T WORK it has been proven many times before. If you’re like me and you like to breathe normally then this shop is not for you, and you are not welcome there.
