   I had two of my dogs seen by the practice so far and it’s been an absolute dream of an experience from start to finish. The receptionist is extremely helpful, super fast and proficient at her job. In minutes she sorted out passing details to my regular practice all with the nicest attitude. The nurses are amazing, so helpful and kind. The vets are out of this world. One has checked my boy for suspected cruciate tear and was 100% right without diagnostics (confirmed it wasn’t it with ultrasound later) and the other spayed my girl in a standard I couldn’t dream of. My regular vet literally called the scar “spectacular” in her post op appointment, saying I did well going elsewhere as this is work is remarkable. Post seeing my dogs they kept checking on them, and provided every advice I’ve asked for. I drove 2 hours to see them and would repeat that anytime something would be wrong

   Our poor old cat had to be put sleep a week ago. Judy was 20 years old and a bit unsteady but her back legs went. Phoned beechwood to expect her. The team were waiting for her. How wonderful they were. There wasn’t a lot they could do for her so we decided to say good bye whilst feeding her favourite food tuna. The team couldn’t have been more caring and compassionate.    1st time at Beechwood Veterinary Centre Woodley (Active VetCare), as usual vets in Twyford were busy. Reception Team and Vet were great. Vet was very thorough in assessing my poorly dog, asking lots of detailed questions and thoroughly examined the dog physically. Discussed and agreed on 2 different action plans dependent on how next 24 hours goes following an injection.

   After recently losing two pups to an unknown cause I was very frightened when I had to take my 15 month old Sprocker pup in this morning as she had eaten something causing a blockage. She had stopped eating and was not well at all. First the receptionists were both kind and helpful. She was quickly seen by a vet, both that vet and the senior vet examined my little girl. Fluids and pain relief were given. I left my dog in their hands. Everyone was so kind and helpful. My dog was operated on. I was kept informed about things. I cannot speak highly enough about all the staff, from the receptionist to the vet nurses , the practice manager and the two lovely vets Henri and Dani for all their compassion and kindness. They all went far and beyond to save my little girl. Beechwood staff have been great would always recommend this practice

   I had never used this practice until one of my cats was hit by a car and he needed to be seen before my regular vet was open in the morning. The staff were really lovely, kept him comfortable and arranged his referral to a specialist vet for surgery. 100% recommend this practice and my huge thanks to all who looked after Cuddles. He’s recovering well at home now.

   Five stars for Henrietta who was extremely helpful when asked for advice regarding my dog’s emergency. I was blown away with the response and the effort she had went through at a late notice. A clearly very passionate vet who I will be using in future ☺️ thank you!

   I requested to be contacted before additional procedures were performed on my cat on the consent form. The vet who performed surgery on him is the clinical director and said she didn't read the consent form. I said food is falling out my cats face when he tries to eat post surgery, she put on his notes owner says cat is doing fine. I took the cat to their sister vets in Bracknell, they took my cats weight incorrectly. At the next vet, prices were over £350 cheaper for the same procedure and the consent form was followed. I was offered £50 compensation.

   I was leaving abroad with my Weimaraner, everyone was booked but Beechwood vets found time to see us. Then it turned out I didn't need the worm treatment I thought I needed. They were very helpful and saved me money. Will be coming back again.

   Everyone who works there is really lovely, compassionate towards animals and very professional. A few years ago my bunny had GI Stasis and Sophie saved his life. I'll be eternally grateful for that. I even did work experience there in 2018 and was really impressed by how the surgery was run and the high level of care the pets received. Would give 10 stars if I could! (Here's a photo of my beloved bunny, Teddy)
